Joe and Jeff changed the sound of BBSHP. Every Bass tries and doesn't even know it. Every lead = Conneley. Go listen before Keepsake and Acoustix. Nothing wrong with it - they are the GOATS. Just my observation.
Yeah, I miss singing the old stuff that was true barbershop and I wish you bring the old logo back too and call the society society for the preservation and encouragement of barbershop quartet in America Incorporated that’s a way it it shouldn’t be for outlines of peoples heads and singing. I’ll tell you what I was hurt when they changed it. to the new name and to the new logo and then they try to sweep it on the rugs. They all we’re still the society for the preservation encouragement of barbershop quartet singing in America, Incorporated, but we’re just shortening the name to barbershop Harmony Society, and changing the logo, I believe that was a third logo, I could be wrong. This performance is 100% why Rick Taylor is my favorite singer in the BHS history. Nobody does it like him. Easily the most entertaining performer on a stage ever :)
Seriously Riptide were great when they competed. And know as they've got back together after 20yrs hiatus, the voices have matured and they are like a fine wine. Tim ( One of my favorite leads ) and Rick ( I can sing any part you wish with style and class ) make it so very special to enjoy.
The truth is very sad. Greg Dolphin has suffered from dementia since 2015. I can't say how Greg came to possess the dark web child porn he supposedly possessed, but I've known Greg all my life, and he would never take pleasure in the rape, torture and snuff films available there. He was on house arrest for about 6 months in 2016/7 and has lived alone, gradually declining ever since. Except me, all of his friends abandoned him and his wife and daughter, Dora Dolphin, left him.
Guy on the right is giving a 7 for effort. Bass is leading nicely but the others aren’t following sadly. Guy to the left of him is also leading but in an insincere and overly sappy sort of way, guy on the left is just in his own world a little bit and slightly following the others. My recommendation = curl around the bass and watch his mouth, face and hand gestures and do just what he does, then when you’ve locked together, give it out to the crowd
It's mainly a small impromptu performance so it's a more relaxed atmosphere here. They're all champs already as well, so they certainly have the capabilities to do what you suggested, but they're just being comfortable here.
It is not the critic who counts, not the man who points out when the strong man stumbles or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena. So how about you lay down your credentials before armchair coaching a group with more gold medals than necks to wear them.
