What’s the hip size of size 16? Divide it by 4 your result multiple by 3 or 2.5 if you like the fullness of the black recreation. Let’s say size 16 (hips is 48:4=12*3=36) You’ll be needing at least 4yards to 4.5yards.

Thank you❤️❤️ It’s a bit tacky when the pocket is already fixed, what I’ll advised is this Add 1.5inches allowance at the waist, (this is a circle skirt it’s the waist allowance that really matters here). when fixing your side pocket, sew with 0.75 (1/4) or 1 inch. So when you’re attaching your zip, you’ll be able to grab 1.5 at the waist line and 0.7/1 inch at your pocket area, that’s the inches you sewed your pocket to the outfit. note: the side you’ll be attaching your pocket don’t topstitch on the pocket.. if you aren’t clear on this please ask me to explain more. I would’ve loved to make a tutorial on this.. but it might take a while since I’ve other tutorials on ground already.
