Each unit is rated differently for temperature, which can be checked in their respective user manuals. These are the temperatures Bluetti recommend for the units shown in the video: Operating Temperature: -4℉-104℉ (-20℃-40℃) Storage Temperature: 14℉-113℉ (-10℃-45℃) There should be no damage to the units if you are within these thresholds. We haven't seen any warranties or heard from our customers of any heat related issues (and lots of people are leaving them in the backs of hot utes/trucks) although that's not to say there are no heat related issues, we still recommend following Bluetti's guidelines.
We recommend the Premium series of units to those spot camping who frequent servos/fuel stations or don't want to splash on a solar setup immediately, since they charge in around 45 mins, wall charging the units is undoubtably the fastest and most reliable way to restore your power no matter the conditions.
The AC200Max has a particular advantage over the AC200L (AC200L P), worth mentioning. With a bluetti D050S charge enhancer, the max can charge at 1418 watts with only solar. That’s the most mine has done. I have the max with 2 B300’s. My entire system can charge at 2500 watts.
The AC200L Is almost the same as the AC200P L, the P stands for premium so it gets some features like a larger battery capacity but apart from that, they're realistically the same unit.
Are these units just for sale in Australia? I ask because the 240L reviewed in the US (link below) has a 30 amp outlet and only TWO AC outlets, while the one shown in this video appears to have FOUR AC outlets and NO 30 amp outlet? The units reviewed in the video are the Australian versions. There are some differences when it comes to different countries for Bluetti units mainly the socket types and numbers. This could be due to regulations, differences in voltages required for their respective "standard" AC and some other nuance factors. While there are certain key differences the units are functionally identical. Similar to how computers sold in different countries come with different keyboard layouts. As for colour, the orange indicates the Premium series of these products, which the main difference is a slightly bigger battery and different orange livery. (Also differentiated by names of the products with the P designation like AC200P L instead of AC200 L)
This video features a AC200L P. It is an upscale version of the AC200L. It has the red trim, a higher weather rating and is 256 watt hours larger. Both are available for sale in the US.
The unit will stop drawing power at 100%, at 99% it will draw again. You can leave it like this but we would recommend doing a full cycle every few months.
It seems similar to the new electronic thermostats I installed in my place. Previously my heaters would go on and stay on continuously until the room heated up. With the new electronic thermostats the heat goes on for a few seconds and then it turns off then on and off. Hi from Canada. Powerlifting, generally speaking, lowers volts and increases usable wattage. A lower voltage would not be good for most appliances (heating elements are an exception.) There is no way for the unit to tell what is plugged into it which means automating powerlifting, while cool, would cause more issues that it would fix.

Both those are great units but are way out of this price range (~$2500aud VS ~$7000aud) an apples to oranges comparison. For the 240 you are paying more for the IP65 rating. For the 200MAX and 200P L the extra money for the 200P L mainly goes into newer tech, faster charging, longer warranty and a more efficient battery, 2304Wh vs the 200MAX's 2048 Wh.

@@TechnoMonkeyFarm No faster charging speeds are not what has changed the ratings. It's 3000 cycles or 5 years, whichever comes first for most of the units. We think Bluetti are just managing expectations.
Interested in the sizes - in photos the AC240 looked like it may come in a bit smaller / more square, but surprised to see it's actually taller than the AC200Max. Big one that drew us to the AC200Max was the 12v/30A output for running common van/car/marine accessorices, which the AC200L doesn't have.
