I'm here to share with you guys my journey with eczema and TSW (Topical Steroid Withdrawal) and everything in between.
I've recently launched TSW Merch to spread awareness of TSW! A portion of the profits will be donated to ITSAN (International Topical Steroid Addiction Network)
Omg I can relate so much to this. Mine was a bit under the eye, but my entire back and side of the next, back, and elbow had really awful eczema. I felt like an alien, disgusting. I didn’t even wanna go out of my house and look in the mirror. Doctors didn’t know the cause and only prescribed steroids. Finally I started trying to heal my gut through diet. The only one that gave me results was carnivore. After only one month, the progress of the healing was very noticeable. I did this diet for around one year, and my eczema totally disappeared. It has ever since come back on my finger, so I’m back to a ketovore diet, because it also wanted to come back in my arms and face because of stress and emotional eating. I believe the cause of mine is hyperinsulinemia, because eczema is not the only inflammation affliction I have.
I have been struggling with severe atopic dermatitis for 17 years now.. traveled to asia, europe and africa trying to find treatment.. still nothing is working trying to cut down certain foods even if my labs say i am not allergic and hopefully i can manage to save up to get dupixent its a living nightmare i no longer have friends and i am socially withdrawn from everyone because the least bit of anxiety makes my skin blow up beyond control
TY for sharing this ❤❤️🩹 I'm dealing with this and it's stress 💯 two creams and still struggling!! It's miserable and your right it just mask's it 💯 ‼️
I had a friend who had awful eczema like her and he went to Tunisia and had had the fidhy treatment, he would swim in large pools of those those fish rhat est the dead skin. It took 6 to 12 weeks there being treated but he cane back with crystal clear slin and never had any other issues. His parents paid for it between leaving primary school and starting high school. That was 20 YEARS ago. Why isn't it more known I'll never know. There's other places that also do it now.
There’s another girl I seen on the Internet with the same issue. She has curly hair. I haven’t seen her videos in a while but I pray she comes across this video and try it out
I have very mild excema compared to a lot of more extreme cases, but I never trusted the topical steroids I'd get prescribed. I'd use them and they seemed to work but what I noticed is that anytime I tried to stop using them my excema would come back even worse. What worked for me was a lotion with manuka honey in it and honestly I'll never touch those steroid creams again. Anytime my excema flares up I just use the lotion I found works for me.
I hsed to have eczema head to toe and it eased up as i grew up but when animals were removed from the house it went away. The moment i got a dog it all came back and i had a horrid flare up. So no one knew it was the animals that set it off.
Bless you girl!!! It’s very heartbreaking to see someone suffering from eczema! please let me know if i can use for my 6year old son he has very severe eczema! I am using steroids, antihistamines and much more but nothing is helping! Kindly give me more information if we can give it to toddlers??
Im so sorry you had to go through that. So often Drs just choose pharmaceutical based symptom management as a treatment option. That is how modern medicine is taught. You have symptom x, y and z then you need tablet B and cream C. It is only through a health professionals own individual journey into what health actually is that they become a good practitioner. People have so much possibility of helping themselves these days. And well done!
I have genuine joy in my heart seeing you smiling and happy!! Your struggle is something that really is life altering. Knowing that you kept pushing thru to find your own healing from the inside out is incredibly inspiring!! I hope you are sponsored by those probiotics and im going to buy some now not only for the benefits but to support a great product and you!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Oh my God, I've seen your videos from the start of your journey and I am STOKED for you! You've put in so much work and gone through so much physical n emotional pain to get to where you are, and I hope your skin is feeling as good as it looks right now. I hope you're proud of yourself ❤
I’m happy you found the solution. What are some other things you put on your body to deal with the issue? I don’t have eczema and I don’t know anyone who has it, but you never know if you have kids or meet somebody who has it one day. So I’m just curious.
THANK YOU! Too many people are treating their eczema externaly without even thinking ( physicians don't help) about what can be the trigger INTERNALLY. Eczema is an immunitary response as you say. It's essential to look for an allergie and taking care of your gut health. Physicians are really useless. They don't know the basics at all. They will never help you find the causes except if you're almost dying already.
Eccema is caused by HYPERINSULINIMIA, CURE it with a VERY LOW CARBOHYDRATE DIET, like the very UNINFLAMMATORY CARNIVORE DIET. Much cheaper and EFFECTIVE than potions, pills or creams..... YOU will feel much better in couple of WEEKS!!!!!
You’re such a beautiful and strong woman, Remi, as someone who has dealt with eczema since I was a baby I am so so grateful you get to share your journey! I hope you have a lovely day. I am so happy to see you never let your eczema slow you down from being happy ☺️
The way gut health, immune responses and your skin are so strongly connected still baffles me to this day. But immune problems run rampant in my family, especially on mom’s side. So tons of people with eczema, asthma, IBS, and gnarly auto-immune diseases. Finding the right probiotic can seriously balance out so much. It’s not a cure-all but it definitely reduces the amount of problems. Sadly, there are biotics that I am allergic to. 😂 Why does my system have to make things complicated. I found out when I had the same reaction to lactose free probiotic yoghurt that I had to regular probiotic yoghurt. My throat was on FIRE. I though it was the lactose. But nope.
