I’m loving this video, Cara! There’s a bunch of things I’m tryna level up in my life too (not my makeup collection) so this truly resonates. My focus right now is to prepare more fresh food at home and not rely on delivery so often. I feel better when I eat fresh and, even tho groceries cost what they do these days, it’s so much cheaper even when you’re cooking for one. I love that you’re reading with the boys. My mom read to me all the time and it kicked off my love of reading for a lifetime. Cooking is such a valuable life skill and cultural touchstone that you can give the boys. That would be really cool if and when you work that into your routine. Luv ya!!!! 🩶🩶🩶

I had never heard of a winter arc but I started making some of the changes you spoke about (drinking less, weights, faith) earlier this month and now I know there’s a whole “name” for this late in the year reflection and change!!! I love this! I really appreciate this kind of content from creators where this isn’t their main job, because it’s more relatable, realistic and it makes it way more inspiring to me. I’ve definitely been feeling like I need to make some changes and I’ve just started working on getting things more organized and it’s amazing how much that has helped with my general overwhelm and anxiety. I like the idea of adding these types of specific goals and tracking progress and starting now and not waiting until the new year or anything like that. I’d love to see more content like this!

Less screen time is a goal for me; part of that, I think, is being more intentional with what I'm consuming when I AM online, but less screen and more "doing" in general. I've also determined lately to get back into reading and ordered myself a big juicy trilogy, and got a new(secondhand) armchair for my living room to create a cozy reading nook. I try to maintain a weekly "desk date" with myself to sit down and look at/work on my financial health, sometimes I'll treat myself to takeout on that night just to encourage myself/not have to spend time on making dinner or cleaning. Thanks for the jolt of motivation, may all of our Winter Arcs be gloriously fruitful!!🙏💚
Thank you for the motivation! I have a laundry problem, too, and really need to declutter my closet and entire house, honestly. The garage is another big project. Instead of being depressed that the weather sucks and i cant be outside, i can totally utilize these cold/rainy months to make headway on indoor projects so i dont have to spend time doing them inside during the nice summer months! 🎉❤

Am so not marked safe. Martine's first major drop in a year, Circus, hit today and it wiped me TF out -- right on my birthday. 😂 The Banana Pudding scent from Boy Smells is totally tempting but right now I need to behave and wait on that ridiculously slow boat from Belgium. 😊
Am I crazy or has Glamlite done the orange and blue combination eyeshadow palettes several times before? I have the Tony Tiger Frosted Flakes one - Jinx, you just said it! But I am looking seriously at the Makeup by Mario Ethereal Moonlight palette and the Patrick Ta duos!
Your thoughts on the hourglass palettes are the reason i came to this video. I always see you use them and love your makeup it’s been making me want one! It will be my Christmas present to myself but I couldn’t decide on which one i want the Evil eye and the lotus 😂
I’m swimming in makeup and really trying to be good about what I buy. I do want the Mario palette. I use the other ones all the time, especially great for makeup artists. Staying away from the Eyescream Beauty box. I was a member for a few months until one month they sent me two boxes. I tried contacting them to return the second box that I never ordered. They charged me for two boxes as well. I never got a response from my emails. Made a comment on their post on IG. Was told to DM them but they never responded after several messages. It’s been over a month. I finally decided to file a claim on BBB and dispute the charge on my CC. Absolutely disgusted with them.
The Halloween releases are so boring this year and that’s a good thing cause I don’t need anything. I’ve picked up old things from last year. I love Robert so I was excited that he teamed up with BB but the rainbow palettes are boring. I agree w you about Patrick Ta’s duos. His shimmer formula is not it
Only thing I want is the Fantasy Cosmetica palette. I love BB and RW but another rainbow palette? Gloomier rainbow but rainbow nonetheless. NM release is cute but hesitant. Makeup by Mario palette looks pretty but looks like a few shades pulled out of his ethereal eyes palette to put the blue, grey, and black 😅
I don't need anymore eyeshadow palettes. However, I just placed an order for the Underland palette. It'll be my first from the brand. I couldn't pass on the grungy color story.😂 Thanks for keeping us updated! Look forward to this series. ❤😊

I definitely want the new palettes from Dieverune but that’s the only thing from this week that interests me, cause the more they come out with, the less interesting most things are. I did pick up 3 of the 4 Avatar palettes as they have been on my wish list since it came out. I picked up the Halloween II palette and the Twinkies bundle. The Coke launch was cute but the palettes are too similar to others they’ve done. I need Blend Bunny to not release anything else until Valentine’s Day cause this is too much. I haven’t been enthused with the last three launches. I like the new palette from Makeup by Mario but not enough to pay $63. My Sephora cart is nothing but perfume and I’m okay with that. Unless Cosmetic Brushes, Adept, or Unearthly drops a hit, Black Friday will be very quiet at my house. There’s only one palette I want and two dresses from Quince. Also, that Vanilla Milk is awful. It smells like burnt tires and baby vomit.
I am still loving eyeshadow palettes, but I just put the stop on getting more. My last purchases are Divenah Twilight Whispers and Beauty Bay Celestial Charms, and I need to use the ones I got. I am going to wait for the Sephora and Black Friday on Glamlite.
Lately, I'm just watching reviews and old videos for inspo. I think I will wear more makeup starting in Nov. Due to traveling, jet lag, weather (very hot dry heat or humid heat), and a death in the family, I haven't had time to think about makeup. The last palettes I bought were Adept x Amy Loves, Adept Ardra, Lethal Avatar (Earth, Water, Air), Gloss Gods Nude Pop and Lavender Pop, Viseart Soleil La Plage. Of those, I have used only Avatar Earth, Nude Pop, and Soleil La Plage. Besides that it's been stuff I already have or neutrals. To me, after ~2 yrs, most eyeshadow enthusiasts will have all the colors and neutrals they need and want, in the quality they want. What can get me to buy again is the uncommon situations of whether an old palette can be replaced w one of significantly better quality, be in such a great color story that will inspire me to use my shadows more, or be in uniquely beautiful packaging.
The first 2 columns in the BB palette ruin it for me. Without them. I can see both the theme and Robert's style. The light pastels just ruin it though. Editing to add that the lip glosses look amazing though!
