"The Kia driver spotted someone he recognised in the car park of the shop to the right and wanted to get his/her attention." In other words, the Kia driver is an inconsiderate arsehole.
Did they have the audacity to shout abuse at you for safely passing them? Well done for not showing an anger at all. I know i wouldn't have been that calm
I was in Norwich a few years back when a bus pulled straight out in front of me leaving me no room or time to brake hard. I ended up on the other side of the road passing a centre island on the wrong side. I was not travelling too fast either as there was a speed camera on that part of the road. All I got was a wave from the driver which I assume he thought made everything alright! 🙄
The old NDR lane cutters really grind my gears. Everyday occurrence no matter what roundabout, driving standards are appalling around here, keep safe out there fella 👍
@@mattw8332 indeed it does, amazingly I've managed to dodge a few this way, yes middle one was a 1.8gl saloon G524 JNG sadly gone to scrap heaven, still have the Hatchbacks though😀
You have been given the chance to make someone else happy. This is a positive thing. Everyone involved learned lessons, which is great. Of course, for some those lessons may need to repeat. We can dream of a future when such things do not need to occur, but I always ask what would be the value of that? You may find this sort of thing happens to you a few more times for a while because it could still be a fact that you made the wrong decision. If we live in a place where fear of fake charges or undue and unfair attention from government prevents us from giving young people a lesson they need for their own safety, we are probably not living in the world we think we should be living in. Best wishes.
Great new video Matt and always good to have you here on RU-vid too. Thanks for being a great friend as well and always a joy having you with us. Have a great week ahead and stay safe.
0:22 probably not the safest way to drive like that. Might of been better to have indicated left with the flashing beacons on. 0:51 that taxi driver is a dumb place to stop and wait. Should not be stopped like that in a junction too. Blocking access and can be dangerous for emergency service vehicles too. 1:10 illegally overtaking in a 1 lane road and also failure to indicate overtaking and overtakes with oncoming vehicles. Did I miss anything. Criminal level 10/10 there.
There is nothing that I could have said that would made these kids think about their actions. I would guess that they are somewhat emotionally damaged, thus lack empathy and this is their way to rebel against the world. Had I got out and gave them a slap and the police made aware then I'd be the one facing criminal charges. I had to suck it up and move on. I doubt their parents give a toss.
@@mattw8332I think a lot of people who behave like this are ‘damaged’ as you say. It’s actually counter productive to get caught up in it with them if you can avoid it as it will contaminates you as well.
Hello, Matt likes Prog Rock. Would you mind if I feature your video "Norwich UK dashcam: Tailgating BMW driver DG63 LXD" in the next compilation on my social networks? Thank you!
I did consider it but the horn on my small car is pathetic: it`s like a “beep beep! “. If I did toot the horn I think these two reprobates would have cracked up laughing. I decided it better to play the long game and keep cool.
The vans overtaking near the start? The road where the second and third vans overtake is a 30 mph and 20 mph speed limit. A lot of hazards with mini roundabouts, junctions and lots of school children. Looks like they all accelerated beyond 30 mph to achieve the overtakes. The 2nd van overtake 3rd van was OK but the 3rd van nearly encounters a vehicle heading in the opposite direction.
