Hi I’ve been watching a couple off your paintings, there very good and nice and simple especially for beginners.you have a very nice way of teaching. Thank you.😊
Thank you for this video ! Purple is my favourite colour. Earlier this year I had taken a beginner acrylic painting class and we were learning about mixing the primary colours. I was getting so frustrated with the purples. Now I know we were using a red that was orange leaning.
@@lisaphillips2499 hi Lisa! If you visit my site and go to my recorded sessions page or my membership page I have this tutorial going up tomorrow! wendyanderson.art/recorded-videos
Yes this is a good question and I should clarify that. I buy the bulk jar of liquitex basics primary colors and then I transfer the paint into a large squeeze bottle and mix in a little bit of water (about 10% water max) it’s not that much water and you can simply dip your brush in the water or spray your paints with a mister to get similar outcomes. Sometimes you don’t want to add water so I also reserve some paint with no water for when you want to get more texture.
Hi Crystal! My RU-vid sessions aim to be 30 min with only using primary paints and 8x10 canvas. My membership is where I post tutorials that are more in depth like 1 hours or more and I’m on camera going into more depth and creating more complex yet still beginner friendly! I keep my membership and RU-vid totally different formats so I won’t be posting membership material on RU-vid. If you ever decide to check it out you’re free to cancel anytime 🎨❤️ it does help support me as an artist. Thank you for your interest!
Hello! Yes :) This will be released on my membership very soon 🎨❤️ the membership includes 80+ full length sessions plus new lessons added monthly. It will also be released as a one time session on Painting to Gogh
I actually blended and I must say it’s the first time I was able to without leaving those harsh lines. It took me about 30 minutes but it got there. I didn’t quite end up with colors close to yours but it still looks like water. Now on to finishing the rest of painting. Thank you again for the words of encouragement from the other tutorial
