We help parents build Confident Kids and Connected Families by creating children’s media focused on the benefits of the cycling lifestyle: health, freedom, independence, self-reliance, self-confidence, and environmental stewardship.
WE MEET PARENTS ALL THE TIME WHO WORRY ABOUT...
- Coaching their own kids - Managing screen time - Building confidence in their child - Finding non-digital family time
WITH BUDDY PEGS, YOUR KIDS GET...
-Twice as stoked to ride - Skills to ride safely - Social-emotional tools that help them navigate life
When more families ride bikes, we all benefit from healthier, more connected communities and an overall healthier planet.
We believe that inserting fun and inspiring bicycle experiences at key moments in childhood helps build a lifelong affinity for cycling.

I'm not in the bike industry but enjoyed watching this. When I was child free almost 20 years ago and heard about balance bikes, I was blown away by the idea. Made sure my child had one and he recently switched to pedals and hand brakes. It's amazing how quickly he picked it up. Love that you're pushing the idea of no training wheels. Just wish I had more spaces to ride with a novice rider in New York City (without having to get on the subway to get there), but that's another conversation for another day.
Dude. I found this vid because im running into the same issue with my kids new bike. The twist grip is total garbage. I feel like im going to get new bars and a whole front set up.
I agree, including the fact that it’s so much easier to teach kids how to use hand brakes. Someone needs to lobby the CPSC to change that antiquated law.
Fellow Dad You're talking my talk 💯 My son has a 7 speed Revo Shift It's dreadful Can change to top gear by himself Cannot change to first by himself Tech at the store said it works as it's supposed to... Why can a child not change his own gears? Absolute nonsense 😂 Thank you for this video 👏
This is a great video. Answered my specific question. I consider myself a "bike enthusiast" however, I didn't know about this adjustment. Thank you for taking the time to produce this video. Have a great day.
Thank you so so so much for showing us how to do this. I had to do it for myself, and didn't know. I greatly appreciate you taking the time to make this video. <3 best to ya!
