Nice scheme. Do you have any issue with the rear inner doors pushing open at 3/4 or full throttle? On mine, I just installed 2 additional cylinders on these doors (after trying magnets) to try and rectify, haven't flown with it yet. Also I had a severe issue with braking where she pulled hard to the left (I see you pulled hard right on the 'hot' landing)... here I cleared the both brake lines and installed a steering gyro (if you don't have get one!) and solved the issue. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZloTi-4krzA.html
Sounds really windy. My Zeus with the stock colors has disappeared on me a couple of times. Fortunately, all of my EDF's have Spektrum AS3X/SAFE receivers and I can switch to SAFE mode in an emergency.
On mine I started at 440mm, I felt it was nose-heavy. I took out my extra weight, I was able to get mine much slower. Haward was fighting a 20 mph head wind, I am sure it kept flying.
@@nwjt I definitely recommend utilizing them as well as using the wing tanks, yes I started mine without for a few flights too but after I used them, wow it was very helpful.
Shinichi came from Japan just to get intense training for circle to land, strong cross wind landings. I was coaching him with his Global Aerofoam MB339, powered by Acex80, controlled by a Futaba 14Mz, no gyro. Amazing performance in a 18knots + wind and gust definitely built confidence and competency before trying that on composite jets. Mike L.
