Of course Hacken Lee has only good things to say about Zhou Shen, they've worked together and like each other very much! But should the music industry only take Hacken Lee's favourable words of Zhou Shen to knock Hua Chenyu? That's a bit dahm. I actually only listen to Hua Chenyu songs for Chinese songs because his music suits my taste. I like rock with a bit of grit. Hua has the ability to sing like an angel and do well too at the other end of the spectrum. The talent and skill of a musician and singer aren't determined by how obediently they follow the mould of what the entertainment industry set. We all know why they instruct certain singers to sing this way and that way. So that the production and marketing team and agencies can earn more money. Cater to the masses, shape their music appreciation and present to the masses a singer that fits that mould. Voila!

Did you know that CCTV used Hua Chenyu's ORIGINAL composition as background music? Ever since Zhou Shen failed to enter the final of Singer 2020 (regardless of black script), his fans have been attacking Hua Chenyu and turned anti-Hua Hua. They start to parrot what earlier unscrupulous media outlets say about Hua. They refused to admit that Hua is talented which is expected and it's normal and natural for fans to praise their idols and disregard flaws which Zhou Shen has. That's acceptable because it's the same with Hua's fans. However, they will grasp any tiny chance to put down Hua while praising Zhou Shen till kingdom come. They are still very, very sour about Singer 2020!
I just like Zhou Shen especially his impishness. I love his voice and can listen to him sing forever. He just blossom because he has gained the acceptance and recognition that he deserves.
