I have a 4 year old female Rottweiler she is a mush I’m glad she is more loving than an attack dog I’m sure if needed she would take care of business 😊
Dogs aren’t vicious, owners make them vicious which is unfortunate. If a dog loves you, he will protect you and your home without to the end making them killers. That’s why certain breed dogs (pits, Rottweiler, chows) get such a bad rap. All of these breeds are great dogs without this type of training.
So, it's good to train up a Rottie to attack anyone near the fence maybe even like a kid that says, "Oh, look at the nice doggie".???? Rotties will protect you to their death and don't need that kind of agitated training for your backyard. And, yeah, I've had several Rotties over my almost eight decades on the planet, all rescues, and the idea was to train them up to be ambassadors for the breed so that they could be taken anywhere, introduced to anyone from literally babies to old folks looking for a big old head to pet. All that kind of training does is encourage the wrong idea about Rotties. They can be as gentle as a summer breeze and still will defend you and yours.
What are you doing? Dogs DON'T NEED TO BE TRAINED TO DEFEND THEIR HOME. DUMBASS. They do this INSTINCTIVELY. All you're doing is making the dog MEAN so when it gets loose and it will get loose is to maim or kill a child, neighbor,etc. Why are there so many DUMB PEOPLE WALKING AROUND? 😒
My Rotties would give their life to protect me and the family. They hit the sleeve harder than just about any breed I’ve tested and I’ve trained many breeds Rotties are super strong
I would say he still needs to learn to actually bite down and not just grab the material but this is the response they may want so they have more time to deal with the threat themselves.
