Taco is just out of brumation and eating again! She's 13 1/2 years old now and doing well. I just put up a new video of her, if you want to check it out. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wZh7g1zNZ5s.html
Awesome but anyone who knows anything about turtles knows this isn't rare. It's so cute how they act like it is tho. Haha turtles and tortoises are super smart. The light and the fact that he/she probably associated u with food is the reason he/she came out the burrow. It still, however I'd amazing to see in video.
Humans: we will Call Hits Name and he will come to meet us. 😍🥰🤩 Tortoise: who the hell is disturbing my Siesta, I will go outside and teach them a lesson.🤬 Oh, they are much bigger than me, better I stay nice and friendly otherwise I will end up as a soup... 😳
They say some turtles(box for instance) who were born in the wild should never be removed from their home habitat and if they are they should be returned exactly to where you found them if you do. The reason for this is these turtles live in a small area of land and if removed they spend their lives miserable always trying to find their way home feeling displaced. If one is to get a pet turtle always get one that was born in captivity. Little rarely known turtle fact I thought worthy of passing along. Not saying this is the case here. Just throwing it out there for those who may find one and want to take it home.
