I have been looking for a KT88/EL34 single ended amp . Any advice on pre assembled amps that I can investigate. Everybody's heard of Decware but I've not been able to find out if you can run KT88 and EL34's in any of their single ended models. If I could find one as nice as yours that'd be ideal but all I really want is a partner to my Prima Luna balanced amp so I can try 'Tube Rolfing' comparisons' between them. 🤤 "Cool Amp Dood"
I am curious to the benefits of using a toroidal transformer over the laminated plate type. Seems like you should eliminate much hum or line noise from using this kind of transformer but makes me wonder why more people don't use it. Some of the most high end output transformers still use laminated plate type. I am considering trying toroidal but exercise some caution due to the expense. I always felt Toroidal transformers are the best and most efficient. I may build this amp.
Hello Robert! Could you please help me? My remote for this got broken, so I have ordered a new one but I cant pair the new remote with the boat. The new controller is totally the same as the old one.
It may look the same, but what matters is who the manufacturer is, the number of channels... Do you know the pairing process? Sometimes you have to try several times and move away at least 1 meter.
@@RobertZovko Hello Robert, thank you! I will try to pair them from a distance of more than one meter. I guess I know the pairing process: push and hold the button left from the powerswitch, pusht the powerswitch, tjan turn on the baitboat and wait until the beep. There is no beep coming :/
@akoswitzelsberger3320 right to the left of the main switch, but that switch has 2 positions, up and down. Press down like the main switch when turning off.

I'm not sure, the description on their website is quite sketchy, but it's important that it works. No saturation up to at least 8-9W as far as I could test.
from the motherboard, vcc goes to vcc of the GPS module, then GND goes to GND, TX goes to RX, RX goes to TX. You can find the module settings in my answers to others.

Hello, I bought the TXG4-RX40G set and I don't know how to replace the GPS module? I thought I could just plug it in and it would work, but unfortunately it doesn't work, I don't know how to replace these modules, I probably need to re-solder something, could you post instructions on how to do it?

you need to move the motherboard away from the magnet, for example the motor... to be sure, try everything before installation, if you still have too high readings, then the fault is on the motherboard
I have one more problem. Maybe you had it too. after calibrating everything and setting the function to go home on autopilot, the ship will sail in the other direction and not to the point?
should the arrow on the motherboard point to the front of the boat? and the gps module pointer to the main board? because the autopilot works the other way around??

diameter 8 mm, thickness 2 mm, dimensions are not important, it is important that it fits and that the magnet is not too strong (you can always add a stronger magnet to the smaller one without gluing)
if you are changing the existing electronics, then you only need the TXG4-RXG3 kit (it has everything: remote control, motherboard with GPS module, motor cables, antenna)
Is anybody know that the remote is the same on all model? As i have 1 like this but that only can set 4 gps point so i found a gps and the motherboard for a 16 point one and just thinking to swap over but i do not know about a remotes
@@RobertZovko the motors are 6 to 12volts, do you think the main board could handle 12v? They make a similar model with 12v battery... I am not sure about the mainboard though.... The 12v model is a lot fastee
@@RobertZovko Smart, didn't occur to me at the first glance that it is the non inverting node, so the effect will be that there is lower noise current through the transformer.
Hello! I am thinking about integrating my deeper pro+ in Boatman actor gps. But actually when the Deeper is integrated it will start working all the time when the boat goes in the water, even if I don’t use the sonar at the moment. It means I will struggle with discharging/ charging issue all the time. How to solve this problem and avoid it? Thanks
I connected the Deeper in such a way that I did not use an additional battery, but only changed the switch from three positions (on-off-on). The Deeper is charged from the main battery when I'm using a bait boat and I don't need a sonar. When I need sonar, I put the switch in the other position (on) and this turns off the charging and the sonar is active. Maybe you can use something similar for your type of boat. Hello robert, I have a problem with my boat, it disconnects from the remote even at a distance of a few centimeters. It no longer responds to any command and executes only the last one whose signal it received. What do you consider to be the problem and what is the solution?
@erikasvasiliauskis7344 you are not looking at the number of positions but the number of poles, you need at least 2 poles. and then you determine the number of positions, for example if the switch has 4 positions and 3 poles, you can easily adjust it with its ring to 2, 3 and 4 positions. this is such a switch: www.tme.eu/hr/details/ck1031/prekidaci-okretni/lorlin
scrape off the varnish from the plate surrounding the hot end of the antenna and solder the ground there (basically it's the minus of the power supply)
Odličan video, hvala. Imam jedan problem sa GPS lokacijom na ovome brodoću. Ako imate volje pomoći, pošto vidim da znate dosta 😊. Dakle, GPS se uspiješno poveže, te na daljinskom upravljaču pokazuje točnu lokaciju (udaljenost od prve spremljene lokacije), međutim kada ga pokušam vratiti na početnu poziciju (ili bilo koju spremljenu), on krene natrag za Kinu. Dakle promijenio sam GPS modul, čak sam promijenio i ploču, međutim problem je ostao. GPS modul kao Vaš uopće nije funkcionirao(sada vidim zašto). Zatim sam naručio isti kao stari i situacija ista... svaka pamoć je dobro došla.. hvala i LP
Teško mi je povjerovati da ako ste izmijeniti ploču i GPS modul da je ostao isti problem.? Prvo, da li ste brod koristili prije? Odnosno da li je radio kako treba? Koliko pozicija ima 4, 16 ili 40?
@@RobertZovko Puno hvala na odgovoru. Da, koristio sam ga prije. Sve je radilo ok. Dakle, zaista, promijenio sam i ploču i GPS modul i problem je ostao isti. 4x4 pozicije. Ugradio sam u njega Fishfinder(doslovno ugradio), pa bi sljedeće pitanje bilo jeli moguće da se poremetio centar težine, pa zbog toga fula smijer...iako je GPSom navođen i to mi to nema smisla, a i sa obzirom da brodić nosi 2 kg hrane bez problema.... Stvarno nisam pametan...
Less music, more talking. There's all sorts of things that you should be talking about. Why you pick the specific tubes you did, the same for the transformers. How you routed everything, the list goes on and on. It's a pretty amp but nobody can build it because you gave no real information on how other than some pretty picture,s and some silly editing. Somebody had to say it. I'd love to build this amp there's no way in hell I'm going to invest in parts for an amp when all I have going is a picture video and a quick schematic.

Svaka čast, pravi ste znalac i u teorijskom i praktičnom smislu. O cijevnim pojačalima jako malo znam, a napravio sam tranzistorca 2x200W/8ohm. Želja mi je za njega napraviti cijevno pretpojačalo s pojačanjem 3-5x. Možete li mi preporučiti neku jednostavnu shemu takvog pretpojačala koje bi ja kao netko tko nikad nije radio sa cijevima možda uspio sastaviti? Još jedno informativno pitanje: Što mislite o circlotron cijevnim pojačalima? Jel istina da imaju bolji damping faktor od ostalih topologija i da lako kontroliraju zvučnike s kompleksnom višestaznom skretnicom??
