@@TheZenithphoenix if I’m able to give them away to families I’m doing that, but per state law, you’re not allowed to transport live pigs so you have to let the buzzards and coyotes take care of them.
Phillip I had pictures a big ole spotted hog early morning like 1am so that same day I went co op got 2 horse pannell I couldn't aford 8 tpost so I pulled them of my fence line & I set up a #6 hog trap this was when weather just turned hot I put a bag of corn and I got nothing about 10 days no hog pics either where did hogs go ? It's like a travel area it's a wet spring there never drys up I had pics of 2 sows & a few small piggy a couple days befor the big spotted hog I got nothing so I tied open the door part corn gone so deer ate it up .is it just to hot ?
Just wanna let you know how much a Bostonian from Ma.loves watching hog trapping and can't get enough. Wishing you great success on your channel, GOD BLESS ❤ !!
I live nearby in AL and always love your videos. I see your signs everywhere. How much meat would you get off a hog this size? How can I get my own hog meat for my family? Thanks for any insight.
That looks di,e uou never done it before! Why park your trailer 30 yards away &have to drag e=very bit that far to load it? Please do tell us that was just the Camera angle distorting the distance?
Surely, both of these would have been worth a premium price for you Hunters? How did the manage to grow that big in a Hunting Club anyway? Can't any of your members shoot straight enough to risk letting them up against hogs this big?
@@harrylinfield5113 Good comment. The hunting club that I’m hired to trap on is close to 2,000 acres and is mostly swampy areas. The whole county is pretty much infested with feral pigs. The guys in the hunting clubs shoots the pigs when they see them but whenever you see a group of 50 +, you just can’t always get the big one. It’s also the same reason that there are big bucks on clubs and no one has shot them. They’re smart and are evasive creatures.
Btw... my deepest sympathy to all Kyree Jackson fans and family all us NFL fans hearts are broken for such a tragic loss, MY THE LORD BLESS ÀND COMFORT YOU ALL ! 😭💔
THIS IS ABSOLUTELY AWESOME... Especially that I've been a N.E.Patriot fan all my life (I live 20min from Gillette Stadium) and that I will be able to meet and see Dale sometime Play . The Tide " and the Oregon ducks are my no.1 & 2 favorite college teams
@@jamesmcdonald6969 you’re absolutely right! I totally forgot to upload the captures on this video. I got in too big of a hurry and finished editing the video. Thank you for bringing that to my attention. I will definitely do better next time. My apologies.
Hope things go well and hogs start showing up. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the country life along with all the hunting and trapping that comes with it, especially hogs trapping. When your son of Portuguese immigrants who came here to Boston area and lived all my life, I sure wish my family would have settled in the southern states. -- GOD BLESS FROM A HUGE FAN !!!!
Even though you don't live in the south, Boston has a lot of history. I've never been to Boston but it's on my list to go. I'm a huge Red Sox fan so I'm wanting to go watch them play at Fenway Park and do some sightseeing.
The Big Pig Traps are fantastic. I own four of them and this is the only one that I’m having issues with. I blame it on the pig that was trying to bite its way out of it.
As a longtime welder/fabricator I noticed the wire is only tac-welded to the bottom square rail. I would suggest get some flat 1.5"or2" and sandwich the bottom of the wire and weld it to the bottom rail because I AM CERTAIN you will keep having the problem with the broken wire on the bottom
Thank you for the advice. I will definitely have to get that taken care of and I’m 100% certain you are right about it’ll keep breaking because of the pigs.
@phillipshogtrapping ....As a lifelong resident of Boston,Ma. I don't ever see much wildlife , deer are scarce cuz corn feeders or putting out food is poaching/illegal here but iam MOST DEFINITELY MAKING THE MOVE TO FLORIDA THIS FALL. - PLEASE THE VIDEOS COMING
@@phillipshogtrapping Wrong mesh along the lower part. Square is far more rigid and smaller gaps prevent small pig escapes and purchase grip for larger ones. Welded intersection lower edge (?absent) horizontal wire will need monitoring for rusting out where welded & where pig sludge and moisture are retained along the bottom rail over time.
