Not gonna lie, I thought i had seen it all when it comes to DCS cinematics but this has blown me away. I shot up in my chair as soon as i heard magic spear 1 at 0:09 and couldnt wipe the smile from my face with the sattilite intercept reference at 5:56. Keep this level of detail up and youll be on the same level as Adrian Caparzo, Nassault and L.A West in no time. Im glad to see such talent get the exposure it deserves.
I fucking love when Ace Combat fans make DCS cines because it brings the spectacle of the Ace Combat series into a proper flight sim. Realism with overdramatization. The voice-lines, music, lore, it all goes so HARD!!
I took my time in coming to finally watch this - big mistake. This video feels like such an obvious hitting of your stride; Deer Horn is good, Glacial Skies was great, but this one is so polished I was shocked. Your pacing is stellar, your cinematography is so well chosen, and your video quality just looks so *good* - beautiful HD and FPS throughout. I can't get over how great your framing of each of your shots was, and there's multiple standout moments - the first merge into the shot of the 4 ship break of Trigger's squadron all splitting apart at once while firing missiles looks phenomenal, and it really shows off your grasp of cinematography and keeping pleasing-looking movement going on throughout every shot. As soon as the second half of the mission began, I was waiting for that famous shot of the F-15 vs. the satellite. You really didn't dissapoint - I was moved. Your control of the tension ratcheting up through each missile that got progressively higher, culminating in the final interception in low orbit, got me emotional! Again, your pacing is just awesome with this video. I wasn't expecting you to go this hard when I came in, even after I loved Glacial Skies - again, just a big mistake from me, clearly. I'm blown away by how hard you nailed this one and blew away every expectation I had, I felt like I was watching a top quality movie from start to finish. Thank you for this treat! I'll be clicking on your next video a whole lot faster, whatever it is. I've learned my lesson.
Oh wow I'm really glad you enjoyed my video. Ty for genuine compliment. Even though got a long way to go to make my video perfect, I will try to do my best. And come back whenever you want! We all got things on our hand. Hope you have a good day :))
I'm flabbergasted. Not only did you completely capture the feel of Ace Combat 7, but the callbacks to Zero in the form of the squadron introduction and the absolutely stellar cinematography are mind-blowing. I'd love to see what you could do with First Contact/Two Pairs, the Battle of Farbanti, or Lost Kingdom. Sol Squadron would be a dream to see in action in your work. Liked and subbed and looking forward to more! Bravo!
I really much like it! But the story man, it goes all too well for the boys. Would be so much cooler with more blood & luck. But seems accurate, cuz there are freedom fighters .... =0/ & :D
