This is really awesome!! But do you know a way to make it higher on mobile? I have to add a button below it to open the calendar in a new tab because the whole embed is only 175 px high on mobile.
To transfer ownership of google sites, could you share site with external user and then they can make a copy of site instead? Or you as the user can send it to a gmail account and then share it! That’s similar to what I did.
Thank you! Yes I agree they could make the site more appealing to people who want to use it for other purposes. There is so much potential with this platform, that google hasn’t considered. Especially from a none educational users perspective. 😊

too complicated for noobs like me. i just use ecwid - apart from the annoying scroll bar which i don't know how to remove and ive tried your method and i couldn't get it to work so ecwid it is for me for now.

hey, can you update this guide? I realized the new google sites does not allow you to share a draft as "viewer" and the whole interface looks different.
How did you create the Get To Know Me button? I have a text paragraph and button right below it in same section and column. Whether I use the google site buttons or create my own, it gets resized to the column width. I want it to stay small, like you have. What's your secret?
What I don't get is, if Google is the biggest search engine on the planet, why is there only 17 templates to choose from within Google Sites? You'd think there'll be hundreds if not1000's - just like every other web building platform out there - but 17??
