Guilty. I thought that doing both would be a lot of extra work and it's really helpful to see how it doesn't have to be a lot of extra work. How else can you significantly increase your reach and find new people with just a little extra effort?
Great video! Quick question, I see the ipad reflection on the teleprompter but how do I make it reflect in the teleprompter and mirror properly. How do I see it this "extra monitor" in the proper orientation as it is reflected in the glass?

Random question: when I click on your links in email to watch your videos it opens in my gmail and though I try to open it in RU-vid directly by clicking on “RU-vid” logo it doesn’t work and is never in my watch history. So with this video I had to type in your name into RU-vid to see this & make it show up in my watch history so I can go back and watch again on another device. Any idea why that’s happening? Pretty sure it wasn’t always this challenging. 🙄 Thanks!
It's kinda creepy for sure, especially if you turn your head too much, it'll do like this alien eye thing which is weird as fuck xD (yeah I tried it out after watching this) Best video I have seen on showing this off for people who wanted to check it out but didn't want to sit through 20 mins of useless crap, then see like, three seconds of the actual ai being used then back to talking crap. Not gonna name and shame anyone, but geez guys, people came to see the thing being used, not hear you talk without showing it, had to go through like five useless vids to get to this one. Thanks
I'm so glad that you draw a distinction between looking amateurish and looking comfortable. I've seen plenty of people who were clearly getting started and new to being on camera but they were so comfortable that they were fun to watch.
Love your content! If I have a podcast with guests, what things should I keep in mind especially as it relates to thumbnails? Should they always have both our faces? Also do you feel like there’s an ideal episode length for video podcasts or do I do more of that through watch time analytics?
I wish I understood why this happens and doesn't happen all the time. I have done quite a few budget videos of my work for RU-vid, but my head ends up "swimming" because I get impatient!!! Not your problem, but one thing I'd love to resolve in an economic way would be to find a prompter so that I wouldn't always have to memorizes and at time follow a prompter when I perform, or at least make videos. How might I reach out to you?
Hi Meredith, mine are always about 0.4 secs out of sync too. But I’d have just given up defeated if it wasn’t for this video. Question: what’s the benefits of using squadcast with descript vs just descript? I’m about ready to trash the whole software as it’s super laggy and having constant issues but I keep going back to it trying to give it another shot. Maybe squadcast is what I need to make things work again?
@@cocoscott1898 I don’t think using squadcast is going to solve your lag problems unfortunately. I think lag is a result of a bunch of things, one possibly being the computer you’re using (but I could be wrong). I have been recording externally (with ecamm) and importing it and haven’t had lag problems or out of sync audio!
I just got the trial version, but I'm not seeing some of the full version stuff I'm seeing in this video. Also, If I have my own videos I would like to review already on my lap top how do I record myself watching those videos in Tella? I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. 🤔 Please help😀👍🏾.

Great teaching but this is absolutely the worst screen editor I ever used . I m. impressed that I actually paid for this. absolutely nothing is easy on this program.
the Mackie EM99B just figured in few of your videos what ever happened to your mic? did you just shelfed it i love mics and im just curius where they end up. i think its a teriffic mic for the pric i got mine for.
I am working on my first video in Descript, and it takes a bit to remember all these little details. Previously I just recorded straight to my iPhone, now I have a camera set up with the Elgato Prompter. I guess we will try again tomorrow with claps...lol. When I start editing with the Underlord, it makes my text off, then skips words at the end of sentences. Very frustrating.

Thank you for this great info! Question: would a RU-vid funnel work for service offers instead of a course or program? I have offers in my business but none that are "set it and forget it' like a course. All my offers require working with people. How should I tweak the RU-vid funnel process to work for me?
I got a question guys. Why my video size decreases when I export it from Da Vinci resolve? My original footage is 6 GB but after exporting, it gets to 5.5Gb.
I worked for a TV news station that had a consultant tell the station that the studio camera operators should fill the frame with the anchor's head in the one-shots. It looked awkward in the camera monitor but we did as we were told. One day when I was home and flipping through the channels, I saw what it looked like at home -- GAHHHH! There was a giant head and it looked like it was attacking me in my living room! Not a good look. I see people doing something very similar in their RU-vid videos and I can't watch them. It feels too aggressive. Your framing is engaging and friendly. I feel like we're at an outdoor cafe having a nice beverage.
