Anyone find that the paint chips easily with their TK wide bottles? I bought two recently and both had either a chip on the outside or was chipping at the mouth piece. They were brand new, so I was surprised that this was already happening.
Super informative video! I really want the straw cap, but can't decide on the 20 oz or 16 oz. I would be using it for water. I feel like the 20 oz would be nice, but I worry that it might be too heavy and clunky. Anyone use the 16 oz one for water and love it? Am I going to hate the 16 oz and wish I had the 20 oz?
finally got one, the new 40oz Single Wall then found an older 64oz Single Wall at a thrift store, one little tiny ding and for Christmas 2023 I got the 32oz Thermos with insulated mug I prefer the un-painted wide mouth styles so far I like them...
I dont understand these designs for bottles that are meant to be brought out, having the part where your mouth touches it be exposed, nice to see there are two caps here that dont do that but its still really strange
Totally agree. Or my mouth touches the painted part. The site claims it’s nontoxic, but I’d rather my mouth not touch it and that the mouth piece not be exposed.
Well...any lid will leak if u don't close it properly.😅It's not that hard, just make sure to turn the lid one quarter (15 min) clockwise so that the drop (marked on the lid) is in the middle of the opening where u take a sip. The bottle and lid is very good, i've used in on many travels (by bus/car) and it never leaked for me. I've had it about a year now, im using it at least twice a week. The only thing i'm a little bit annoyed about is that a few drops is still outside the cup after u take a sip, it's no big deal though, I just take a tissue and pat the area where the hole is (between the lid and the thing u turn).
Been using the single-walled 800ml classic for years now, got a nice patina and everything. One issue I have is the splash of water in the face while drinking. I recently tried the sports cap, and it drinks well, bit it leaks in my backpack and it has more parts so it's harder to clean. I am not sure I really want to carry the extra bulk of an insulated bottle. I will only use it for water and I don't really like ice cold water. What do you reckon, will the single walled wide mouthed bottle be a good option for me? Or I better stick with the face full of water option?
