Why does Lydia never pop up on these “who’s the most evil character poll”. Cause she’s up there. Very much a classic narcissist. And “class” based thinker. The contempt she has for Mike when he’s asking questions, because she is used to people she see’s as beneath her, as people who just shut up and do as they’re told. She can’t begin to fathom that Mike or Walt for that matter are 10 times smarter than she will ever be. I’m sure she had respect for Gustavo but that’s only because of his money and charisma.
Haha! I drive truck otr and I can attest to this situation. I driver in to facilities and see worse than this. Unsecured entryways , personnel that are oblivious to intruders and millions of dollars worth of equipment exposed.
Honestly I’d dig a slice of life style series about Mike or a number of other characters. Just doing the odd almost regular work and grilling regular people lol.
I love to think that Mike didn’t actually care about whether they thought he was doing a real job or not, he was just bored and wanted to have some fun
This show has so many of these "wait, what is he doing? ....oooh I get it!" moments. It out of nowhere shows the characters pulling off one of their plans and only explain it later, giving the viewers an opportunity to figure it out for themselves.
Actually, the last person Mike talks to, the guy who asks him who he is, is actually the real weak link in the operation: he's more concerned with asserting his authority by deigning who can do what based on whether he knows them or not, is precisely the kind of mentality that over time can trickle down to the people beneath him, because any truly conscientious supervisor or manager would wait until Mike had finished what he was going to say, THEN ask who he is, but only so that he could get that formality out of the way before figuring out how to help Mike work on the gaps in the system. The manager was completely disinterested in fixing the problems, and that's how small problems fester into a system wide compromising of security.
The more I watch Breaking Bad clips to re-live the series, the more I hate Walter. Especially after finishing BCS as well. What a despicable piece of shit, he ruined so many things just because of his ego.
