Basically I'm a dude and I like all sorts of stuff. On this channel I'll just be sharing the things I'm currently interested in which include electric unicycles, nerf stuff and the occasional travel adventure. I don't really have just one subject this channel will surround and I'm just doing it for fun.
Almost cost as much as the helmet its on......Product looks awesome, but waaaay overpriced. For the price of the helmet and the lightmode, could have got a Shoei or even an Arai on sale.
If you're coming from a smaller wheel, just know the weight takes a little bit to get used to but after the first long ride, it's easy peasy! If it's your first EUC period, take your time with it. Easier to learn on pavement than grass. Wrap it in foam if you're afraid of dropping it while learning. Leg muscles have to get used to this new ride so you're going to experience wobbles so go slow and once you're used to it, slowly increase your top speed. Don't go full send immediately out the gate haha...have fun bro
Great video! I also live in Louisville, and I was thinking about getting one of these. I might use it for going to work. Is it legal to ride on sidewalks? Did you guys get any hard time from police or nobody cared if you ride safely? Thank you.
So just speaking from my experience...I mainly ride on back roads where speed limits are usually 35mph. As far as side walk riding I treat it like whereever bicycles are usually allowed. If you do ride on the side walk, people do get priority so move out of the way and ride slowly around people. As long as you don't ride like a jerk, people don't have issues. They just stare in wonderment 🤣. I've talked to a few police and they think it's cool. Again don't ride like a jerk especially around authority and you'll be fine.
Thank you for your response. I plan to primarily use roads instead of sidewalks, especially for my daily commute and recreational rides. There's a challenging intersection on my route, so I'm considering sidewalks for safety, hoping it won't be an issue with the police. Your advice on riding slowly on sidewalks is noted. I'm excited to get my unicycle, and as a lifelong skier and cyclist with good balance, I hope to pick up unicycling quickly. Your video is fantastic! I am jealous, haha 😊
@DudeNStuff Thanks! I am sure that I will. I have a RadRover Fat Tire E-bike that I absolutely love, so I am certain that a unicycle will be a blast to ride. It looks very similar to skiing.
That's pretty cool content about EUC's here. I bought my alien rides Nikola+ and have been going back and watching some of the video content and subscribing to independent creators.
@@DudeNStuff That's insane, I've had three right strip replacements sent to me and they keep failing in the exact same spot, which is near the top of the strip where the cable connects. In fact, the original strip came broken right out of the box, so I had to wait for the replacement strip only for that to fail two weeks after. The next strip lasted a couple months then failed again in the same spot, and so on. Shitty quality control, there's no damn way this isn't an issue on their end. Fuck this company.
@@epicduckeh6sorry to hear man! Mine are still going pretty strong. Any stress on the wires where they plug in that may be causing the issue? I think it came with extensions to help prevent wire strain so maybe worth a try
I also have the tsg pass and the lightmode night shift was really interesting. Issues, $249 and a block with wires on the back of the helmet. Preferences, lower price and especially a flatter connection even if i got half the run time. Otherwise, thanks for the review.
Amazing video! This was certainly a labor of love involving many. Especially love the 8 columns and what they represent. Thank you for sharing this story!!
You haven’t made a video in a while and I was scrolling through your stuff and I really liked how you commentate and make reviews so if you could make a review of the spyra 3 that would be awesome
Appreciate the feedback! I just got back from almost 5 week trip out of the country so I was just putting a video together for that. Although the Spyra 3 is awesome, I can't justify buying another when I already have 2 Spyra Twos and a Spyra LX. I'm pretty much funding all the things I've reviewed so far 😅. I do have other products I'm reviewing soon so stay tuned!
Same as an old school Roomba....it doesn't handle it 😅. At least it's out doors and sits higher than a Roomba so maybe it'll just glide over? Wheel may be caked in it though ..but hopefully clean itself up as it travels daily so maybe you'll never even notice!
I've had all similar & friendly interactions (nothing negative...yet!). Most start with "hey, what is that thing". About half ask the speed (sometimes followed up with the range). A bunch ask the price. It's impossible the be totally incognito in public with a wheel. Understandable 🤷♂️.
I have the Jupiter and the proton pack and I have the lupus and I just purchased the woozy off of Frontline foam so we'll see what happens because I bought the first woozie a Frontline foam and it did s*** the pieces inside was just thrown in the flywheels were all there in place but the rest of the stuff did nothing I plugged the battery in and it just started rubbing the motors just started going so I had to unplug the battery and I had to take it apart that's not something I have to do with a pre-made pre-assembled woozy and they wouldn't refund my money so I said the hell with them but I'm going to give him one more chance it's not my job to fix a blaster that I purchased for a ridiculous price of over $300
