The Channel was started by Mike and Shawn in the fall of 2017. These two automotive buffs wanted to share their love for the automotive industry and have fun doing it at the same time. In the early stages, the video editing and filming was new to these "Car Guys", but they quickly caught on to how it all works! As episodes are added, you should start seeing an improvement in that department.

Does anyone know what to search for (or a part number) for that plastic cover panel labeled "oil filter"? Mine got damaged by tractor trailer debris. When I search, I seem to only come up with the large splash shield part. Can't find that removable cover no matter how many variations I punch into Google. (perhaps it's not possible to just by the removable panel, separately) However, everything I see seems to look like just one solid piece so I worry that if I bought it (with the intent to poach just the oil filter cover panel), I'd be out of luck. Thanks!

Wiring issues have a tendency to cause the switch to warm up causing them to do this. Check your wiring. German, China, don't matter. I've sent thousands to switches out with little issues. Customers I've sent replacements have the same issues when they haven't trouble shot the problem.
I tried the tool and I hear the light honk for the first two tires but starting on the third it does not honk and because of that I’m not able to finish the relearn and now all four tires show no psi before 3 showed. What do you think I’m doing wrong?
The Vollswagen split window bus was in reality the worlds first minivan. It started production in 1950, and over 12 million were produced. My mother had a 1965 bus with the 1500 engine for more than 27 years. Everywhere we went in that bus it always drew lots of attention. People also wanted to buy it off of her all the time. It traveled, and the odometet rolled over several times. She bought it in 1967 at a Volkswagen dealer. It had 37,000 miles on it when she bought it for $1,750.00. When she could not drive it anymore, she sold it in 1995 for $1,500.00. The depreciation for all those years of use was only $250.00. Now these Buses are going for a lot of money. I was driving the interstate near my home a few months ago, and saw our old VW Bus going down the interstate with all the dents and scratches in the same places where I remember how they got there.
So you not only need to modify the stock bracket, you need to either remove or cut up the bottom tin. Thanks for this great video. I was tempted to buy that thermostat for my Type 3, but will try cleaning up an old style one and testing it with a heat gun.
Hey man, I’ve got one of these , and when the car is off I can move the stick in between gears. I can’t turn the over if it’s in gear either. However, when I power the car on, it won’t allow me to select a gear. Any ideas on what to check?
I had the barring's done and now it gets stuck and hard to put into gear. after I drive it for a while i get back into my 1969 autostick vw and it wont go into gear at all

When you take your engine out. Do you put a board on the jack? I have bend my bolts trying to get the engine out. Do you use a special jack to get the engine out?
