Hi, by any chance is this a common '194' bulb that is also used in side marker lamps, etc. ? Also does this bulb come with the socket and can't be separated? Do you have the part number for it ? Thank you !
Great video. I have a 2000 4Runner SR5 and some videos show and say there are a couple bolts that hold the Bezel console to the truck but they weren't used on mine. Some other 3rd gen 4runners you can't take that piece off without breaking the console if those nuts aren't taken off. Thanks for the video.
I watched a video 2010 where you had to mount the unit that controls the heating and cooling controls in the trunk ...because the radio unit also controls those...
Does this OEM head unit have any fuses in the rear of it?? Mine looks just like it but stopped working... Fuse under hood is good. I know aftermarket head units regularly have fuses so I was wondering if this one (OEM) does too (that may be my problem)!?
Great video that is very helpful. Is that fuse slot on the back actually used? I tried to insert a fuse in it and it would not stay inserted and looking closely at the fuse opening it looks like there is nothing to make contact and hold the fuse contacts. I will contact you as I am restoring a low mile 300ZX and want to keep everything stock and need to get my Bose unit working again.
Ridiculous 🤦♂️, just to change a fucking radio !, Every part on the g6 is a damn pain to change ! Idiot engineers never picked up a wrench in their life!
Thank you for producing this video, it helped with identifying my issue on this amplifier. The two resistors in-front of the 180 uF 25v capacitors on my board are also burnt and I can not identify the values of these two resistors (I am assuming they are 2 watt Metal Oxide construction), but does anyone know the correct values?
WHAT AN F'N NIGHTMARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hello, i am hoping you can help me. I have a 1991 Toyota Cressida, i have power to the radio, but no sound from the speaker. I read your website and it appears to be the original amplifier. But i tried searching under both seats and could not locate the OEM amplifier. Please help :(
Hey bro did you ever think to mention that you got to take the 2 cables out that are connected to the HVAC unit because if you don't have those two cables out of their spots turn the radio does not come out like you show it doing in the video you completely deleted a step and decided not to tell anybody so everybody would have a lot of trouble I feel like you are not a very good person for that fact.
I have a 2007 Tundra Crewmax and it won't accept a CD. Completely aggravating. I am the third owner and the man I purchased the truck from apparently never used the radio/CD player so I have no idea what is wrong with the CD player.
Thank you for posting this video, I bought a '93 Corvette ( privately), and someone put an aftermarket kenwood unit that keeps shutting off. So I will replace it with the stock AC Delco / Bose head unit.
I have an 02 q45 and my radio stopped working everything else works on the screen as far as the ac and ac button but everything related to the radio does not work and I checked all the fuses and they are all good but now I’m stuck and don’t know what it could be any suggestions? I know I have power going to the unit because 6 cd player still works located in the glove box but I do not think I have power going to tape player could that be the reason why the whole radio does not work?
