I vehemently disagree. However, I can see where you’re coming from. It’s schlocky and WAY over the top, but that’s what makes it the slice of fun that it is. :D
That’s one of the coolest things about Kung fu cinema, you’ll see some crap that you will NEVER see anywhere else…sometimes it worked, sometimes it reallllly didn’t, lmao. MOTFG is an irreplaceable gem of the genre.
Anybody remember an old movie from the 80s or 90s where they have fight to the death scenes and throw the dead down chutes and the main fighter guy has blades in his hair? The fights took place on a sandy pit with a cage around it. He loses in the end and the hero uses those hair blades on him. Its not American Gladiator etc. Its a VERY rare movie shown on tv long ago. Nobody can find this movie.
Yep. 😂 Those sections of the film reel they used for scanning this are missing, so they had to borrow from the Chinese copies. My reason for uploading this was to release a version with eng subs for those parts since to my knowledge, you have to buy the DVD to get them. Crossing my fingers for a blu ray release using a new negative!
How many unrecorded blues men n women from the 20s 30s... This is a glimpse in to the shit that was common place in them days.. The field recordings made on cylinders in the 1890s etc onwards in the Congress and British library document a small section of these Shakespeare and Picasso and Shelley music aqiuvalents Aamen
The humor of blues music is not talked about so much as it’s considered to be “sad music”, but personally speaking, no other kind of music makes me smile as the B L U E S !!!
Such courage to stand and deliver with such strength. Amazing seems like an inadequate word. He’s a true revelator in every way. I love him as an American treasure; a gift from God.
It really is. As amusing as the clip of Howling Wolf scolding Son at Newport is, it’s more tragic than anything because of how talented and intelligent Son was. His 1930s-40s recordings for Paramount and Lomax are UNBEATABLE!!
