Man you are the best! Others take apart half the engine to get to that sensor, you did it from the bottom! Mega guide, Thank you for your help, God bless you and health to you and your Family 🙏
You can not go from the bottom I don’t know about anybody else but I just spent a very long time trying to go from the bottom then just decided to go from the top because it was taking so long I had the jack the stands the t30 and it is so much easier to just go from the top of your already replaced everything you gotta remove literally had to come back and say this because going from the bottom an having it not working will drive you mad honestly thought I could because you can’t feel an touch everything but it’s just not enough space man
@@josgt500 Thank you so much! I’ve been putting off wiring it since I didn’t know which ones so i’ve been powering it by plugging it into the cigarette lighter but then I can’t charge my phone. This helped a ton!
my crank sensor finally went out and started stalling my car out ( after causing the misfires and shakes ), so if anyone wondering why ur car shakes its this sensor 👍🙌 i ran da code for bad crank pos sensor A
@josgt500 I see lol . I'm not really a fan of working on cars , hence my lack of knowledge 🤣 I'll build dirtbikes and fourwheelers, but cars just seem to piss me off haha
@@josgt500 I can't really find a whole lot of detailed info on how it's done on any forums or anything. Could you direct me to a site or something that could give a rough guide for how to do something similar if you know of anything? It would help out a whole lot.
@@rmfth what I did bro was buy a aftermarket m3 e46 exhaust , I Olso cut my spare wheel compartment to each there own . then I made custom hangers for the exhaust, and I had an exhaust shop, weld the exhaust to the midsection of my pipe for the rear bumper I use a m tech 2 bumper and I cut the openings for the quad exhaust tips worked really well for the sedans
My car( 1999 328I E46) is Running is fine. No issues. But just popped a Check Engine after a drive from Arizona. Stopped at work it sat for couple days . Drove to parents today same thing its on. Had breakfast nowWeird thing is it comes and goes. I turn on igntion its on. I start the car and drive around it goes off. Went to O'Reilly's they put on the OBD and had A P1397 Camshaft position Sensor Circut"B" (Bank 1) Code. I cant find any other info. Is this the same code for this Fix. I dont want to drive back to Arizona..
Yes, I believe there’s two crank shaft position sensor one is above the AC compressor in front of the engine and the other one I replace in this video is the one that’s a bit harder to get that’s on the engine block
@JE vlogs ok thank u .I'm working on making my tahoe a hybrid clone.i already changed the tailgate, the 3rd light n the taillights n the plastic that go on top of the taillights from a hybrid. I just need the back bumper, front bumper, hood, and the Side steps from the hybrid
I thought of the idea of swapping bumpers of a hybrid to a base,3 yrs ago ,I seen this video about 3 years ago before I got my Tahoe thinking if it could be done This video made me pull the trigger on the Tahoe. Today I have the whole swap and will swapping it soon! Thanks for the info!
