Hey guys, welcome to Wild Hope Homestead. We have a small country homestead in Waikato, New Zealand. I'm Julia or Julz, chief homesteader here, and the family help out too. I've been blogging about homesteading life for years; all about gardening, growing, preserving and making food, raising chickens, DIY projects, crafts and trying to live a more natural life. Most of my content creating is currently here on the RU-vid channel with vlogs about daily life on the homestead. With faith, determination, never-ending ideas and a healthy dose of humour, I keep at this lifestyle I love, with my family in tow, working towards even greater, wilder dreams for the future. Hope grows here.
OMG Julz! I was waiting for a turnaround of fortune in the story and it took a long time. I'm sorry how the trip started. Glad y'all made it safely though. Hope it doesn't put you off going on future family vacations.
Spiders?.........spiders....Hmmm...... I keep finding those monsters out in the yard. I try to put them in the witness relocation program......I walked one over to the neighbor's yard. The other got to live in the trash can until Monday.....when the nice Spider collection truck came by and took him away. tHanks for the video
You are so knowledgeable about chickens! Don't take it too hard, mistakes happen. And on positive note you will get more food and can start anew later on 💚
We have two big pens for the main flock, both joining up to the main coop. One stays empty to give it a rest while they're in the other one, then they switch over. They may have been in the Citrus Pen with the big feijoa tree when you were here.
Cute chicks...I've just put 6 Barred rock eggs under one of my bantam crosses who went broody a couple weeks ago...my first time using a broodie do I'm pretty excited for the adventure.
We should all try to help this nice young lady acquire more subscribers!!! She deserves it...this is near...watching the eggs hatch!!!❤🎉😂 Very cute!! Thank you!! God bless you and your family!!
With her pictures at the end you made me cry,she is so beautiful and she look exactly like my sister cat who is very sick now and she would probably die in the next few months...she is 15...
@@WildHopeHomestead When you only have one it's super hard! When i had 4 it was a lot easier to let go one if it's an older cat...a young one is always super depressing....a real nightmare!
You had a great cat in Nala, you shouldn't wait and you should get another one very soon,it's worth it not to wait! I lost 6 cats and 5 in the last 3.5 years and i got two new one since and i love so much because they are all unique and so awesome! Thanks for your video you are great!
I'm not normal either and I like it that way. And of course I'm going to click on to something that says it's not normal. Caught my attention right away
He got some compensation. Sometimes he gets money, sometimes he gets a book, and sometimes he gets nothing but the work ethic of helping out. 😁 He probably did figure it as $3 per row. But he usually suggests $6 for anything. That doesn't mean he gets that much though!
