Those mirrors would look incredible on my '23 BRZ. I can't stand the stock GR86/BRZ mirrors, aesthetically they are way too chunky for the car (especially when you are on the inside looking out). They also create a huge blind spot when looking down and to the left (curbs, roundabouts etc.)
I’ve been posting questions about how to power the Last- fit CR1 at home, before purchasing it. So am I to understand that any fast power charger adapter for Cell phones, laptops, and tablets are safe and OK to use on the pump at “home” which is my preference? I’m thinking of purchasing the AOAH fast power charger, because of its LED lights for monitoring, also their cables. Question, what should be the minimum power output from the charger do you recommend? Thank you, Harold in the blind.
Great job! Good luck for the trip….bring some headphones anti noise with you because after 100 km the “roar of the engine” that is wonderful in the morning became a noise…that affect your ears….😂 I have done around 300 km maximum in the highway and my ears were not so happy….😂
Good idea! I use 3M WorkTunes as they are designed for hearing protection; 24 dB NRR. Noise cancelling headphones by themselves can't protect your hearing. Here's a link to them: amzn.to/3LCsjBM
I didn't put it back on; better for the components under there with it off. You can put a couple washers under the engine cover standoffs to lift it up enough to clear, however. It doesn't take much.
Gotta love UPS.... I am certain if they could, they would use a trebuchet to launch our packages from the truck directly to the concrete porch.... Try a metallic gold paint pen... for the weights. :-)
Thank you so much for posting this video, as well as the follow-up video with your friend replacing her battery. They gave me enough confidence to change mine! Thanks again for saving me the expense of paying someone else to do it! 😊
So on our Fiat, it’s a 2016 there is a metal cover that is kinda bent down on one side over those holes I guess so we can’t see of get to them, is there another place it could be?
Yeah the 1/2 is great. I end up using a 3/8 adapter on it most of the time, tho. Depends on what size sockets you use most, but the 3/8 is probably more versatile.
For the price of the Koshi carbon panels. It should be like for like and a straight forward fit. I bought the Koshi dash for my abarth and nothing would align up. We had to use a lot of sealer and superglue to hold the vents in and one of the rings on the switch block. Your bonnet looks very nice.
If you just want to replace the outer boot you'd need to take the axle nut off and slip it out of the hub, then use a forcing cone to get the new boot over the CV joint. The inner boots are the ones that have the most trouble on these cars, so it's really better to replace both.
Do you recommend any other maintenance replacements while doing this job? Such as the multi air filter or anything else? Id like to do this and get anything other maintenance out of the way as well
yes, if you haven't done the multiair filter yet, doing it when you have everything apart for the timing belt is a great idea. If your motor mounts look worn, it would be a good time to do those as well.
What color is this? I also own an Alfa Romeo Guilia Veloce and I’ve been looking at the BSPK Forged line! How are they holding up? Do you recommend? How was the buying process? Any issues? Thanks 🙏
Guys, on the Exige S3 (at least on my 380) this looks very different. The hole is covered and the screws not/very hard accessible? Anyone done this on an S3?
Just fyi for all you folks, core shifters makes a short throw base for these using hurst designs. You can also buy a hurst shifter handle to fit the core and have a much better than stock shift feel 👌
Not to mention gravity pulls dust to settle downward that design helps the filter stay cleaner longer by pulling air through tubes up through the bottom. Take that cap off and your filter will get dirtier a lot faster😊
No don't cut. Lol. It's set up a certain way for a reason, a dirty air filter will restrict. The filter is there to just keep particles or unwanted things from entering but it only needs to pull in so much air. Which is usually equivalent to what it's putting out
It's only going to require so much are coming in think of it like an engine running at a certain RPM lower RPM less are higher RPM more are so it depends what that thing is putting out for what it requires to bring in
If you use copper antisieze on the studs , they would have never backed out. Once it gets hot it crystallizes and is stronger than locktite. It can still be removed with tools but will never come out on its own.
The adapter is killing the torque output. I bought the whole acdelco g12 line and I absolutely love them. They're dirt cheap and do their job well. Working on machinery all day the 3/8 impact, 1/4 impact driver, and 3/8 ratchet they've been great and have worked with alot of abuse for years. I also have a line of dewalt 20v tools and a Milwaukee fuel 3/8 impact. Its nice to have a light weight tool to use on smaller fasteners. Im going to buy another set for home use since the work stuff is covered in grease. The old earthquake xt 12v line from harbor freight and durofix g12 all use the same batteries.
If you're doing it professionally you want a machine that can run constantly. The cheaper ones usually only have a 30% duty cycle. That's perfectly fine for most DIY applications. There's also things to consider like maintenance and support. Lincoln and Miller have great support, but these cheap ones the only support you really have is Amazon's return policy (which is actually pretty good).
@@bossoy0769 yeah that's pretty good. It means you can use it at max power for 6min then have to let it rest for 4min. At lower power you might be able to use it nearly continuously.
