As a chef I really have to admit.. they portrayed this beautifully. Even the cutting of his fingers.... the burning of the food... the bad dry food.... it happens to the best of us. The times you gotta get up.. the times you sleep..... how much you learn .... you really have no idea how realistic this is ..... using your Head chef as a stepping stone.... it's real. And this is what it's like 100 times over. Really really impressive. ❤ I love being who I am.
Been around the world and left South Africa couple years ago. But one thing I'm pretty sure of, it's the fact that this country has one of the best advertising TV Spot in the world. It can even inspire you
Such an inspirational commercial. I've watch this at least a dozen times. Besides loving the part at the end where he tells his son, I love the part where he flirts with his wife by using his cereal. "Hello Sexy". Whoever created this is a genius. Thank you!
A father, a senior man, who has lived his whole life without ever having learned to read, buys writing supplies, rolls on to adult literacy classes, practices the alphabet on his spare time, gets private lessons, reads through a stack of books, spends his nights reading well into the early hours of the mornings, even gets a gold star from his teacher, just because his son promised to buy him a drink if he read his book. Just goes to show you the distance an alcoholic is willing to go for a drink of Bell's Extra Special Scotch. The funny thing is, that though he looked like he was something like 70, and had never learned to read, he probably did it in a week after his son promised him the drink.
There will be hard times! people will doubt you and make your life so hard at first. Keep pushing forward, be humble and never give up! I always see comments saying quit don't do it this industry sucks. Only the strong make it here, follow your heart and always keep the passion lit. The sky is the limit !
