WandaVision genuinely was the best series out of all the Marvel television shows that rolled out. Simply because it actually explored a human theme, the stages grief. Nothing compared since then. It's amazing having characters with extraordinary abilities, but keep it grounded so viewers can actually experience something personal.
The outdoor shots for te '70s version are remarkably convincing. It looks as if they actually used the same film cameras that were employed during that time period, same color timing (now THAT is a real feat, as colour timing was traditionally done in the lab, not digitally, and had a very different colour scheme than today's color grading), and even same style of camera angles. Very impressive.
0:56 The 6 stars represent the Infinity Stones, the moon is a symbol of witchcraft, and Wanda and Vision flying from the moon represents how they got their powers from extraterrestrial origins
The amount of foreshadowing in the intros is crazy for the Hex I.E.: 0:57, all of the starring roles have hexagons here- 1:55 I love this show so much! ❤
Honestly for the most part post Endgame MCU is still pretty good. I know the argument is that they aren't churning out constant bangers now, but frankly they weren't before Endgame either. What I'm saying is any dip in quality is only a slight one.
Wanda kidnapped the whole town to live a dream life of having family with robot, instead of finding anyone, literally anyone who is (for the best or worse) not a robot
I don't know if it's just me but I found the postman/messenger very uncanny and weird because even if he had a VERY minor role in wandavision he was still very eccentric, like he was the first character we see besides wanda and vision from the first intro and then in episode 2 he kind of flirted with the antagonist of this story which I found a bit unnecessary with the phrase-"don't shoot I'm just a messenger" and let me remind you this was the episode where we actually get the devil references and coincidentally this was the episode where we actually get a line from him despite him already appearing in the first episode then in episode 3 and 6 he was nowhere to be seen and I kinda found it weird that in these two episodes we actually get newer characters who are kind of like the traitor character i,e Monica and Pietro AND in both these episodes we actually get a conversation between Agnes and Vision but it's mostly Agnes manipulating Vision. Then we also see him in crucial scenes just doing normal things which seem out of place like when sparky died and he told that wanda won't let it go far and when Agnes and wanda were fighting he repeated the same thing he said to Agnes -"don't shoot I'm just a messenger" while it may be a coincidence but he never said this to ANY other member but just the protagonist and the antagonist and both of them are very strong witches AND when Agnes/Agatha broke the mind controlling spell of wanda and when the citizens were pleading to wanda we see LITERALLY EVERYONE except for the postman/messenger.......I don't know if it was intended but now knowing that Mysterio was first a nobody in civil war and later became a villain in Spiderman we might see him as a twist villain he maybe Mephisto or Nightmare or someone else but idk because we got a really disappointing fact about Dottie just being another citizen and not the third witch soooooooooo 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
Some thing I noticed is that there always seems to be someone who resembles Agnes in the background of shots, especially in the 3rd and the 4th opening. Like for example: Around 1:36 Agnes is seen holding some wine while looking at Vision, giving the idea that she is observing them already and that all eyes are all on Wanda and Vision. The wine indicates perhaps how much Agatha hated being Agnes, and that she’s using wine as an escape from Westview or perhaps that she’s using it as an escape from her past, much like Wanda. Around 1:41, Agnes is seen looking through the door at the screen, while everyone else is outside is looking through the window. I think this indicates that Agnes is purposely trying to get much closer to Wanda to gain her trust, hence her walking with her to Dottie’s house. At 2:10, someone who heavily resembles Agnes walks behind Wanda and Vision. This could’ve been a coincidence, had the Agnes lookalike not being looking straight at Wanda and Vision, while everyone else in the intro in the background are just doing their own thing. At 2:16, Agnes is seen helping Wanda pick out baby clothes. This could be seen as just a nice thing to do for a friend, but I believe that this was indicating how Agatha saw Wanda as a baby witch, weaker than her and therefore less experienced with her powers, almost trying to subtly convince Wanda to give her powers over early on. This could also be seen as a way for Agatha to get closer to Wanda and earn her trust so she could perhaps convince Wanda to give the powers to her. At around 2:34, there is someone behind Wanda and Vision in the distance, once again resembling Agnes looking straight at the couple. At 3:25, once again there is someone resembling Agnes sat on the bench looking directly at Wanda and Vision running away. I think that this was also foreshadowing that Agnes was Agatha all along, and that soon the family would actually be running from Agnes for protection. At 3:57, there is once again a person who resembles Agnes sat on a bench behind Wanda and Vision, looking up at them. At 4:03 there is another woman on a bench resembling Agnes, this time looking away from the family. This could indicate that Agatha still can’t stand to see happy family (after losing her son in the comics) I find it interesting that from the beginnng, Agatha only appeared in the background of shots with Wanda and never just Vision. It was a great foreshadow.
