While lots of the footage is stunning, please don't fly a drone any where near osprey nests. It is disturbing to birds that defend territory and distracting to the tasks at hand, survival and raising young. Please note rule no. 6 here: dartdrones.com/know-the-drone-rules-12-things-not-to-do-with-your-new-drone-this-holiday-season/
Could you be anymore random? "Rules" from Dart Drones on a video that's well over a year old? Thanks for trying to soften the blow by saying some of the footage is stunning but I'll say this. You don't know me, you don't know anything about why I captured these shots and you have absolutely no business coming on my feed and admonishing me about how to use my drone, using "rules" from a product manufacturers list of do's and dont's. I'm very aware of how to operate my drone safely and I have been doing so for quite some time. Now I'm going to clue you into something. Guess how we count active Osprey nests where I live.... did you figure it out yet?
Hey there, if you are the guy who lent me the boat hook to get my Phantom out of the tree on North Haven a few weeks ago I want to thank you. It was the perfect tool for the job and without it I would have had to leave it up there until I found something similar. Thanks again and check out some of the stuff I have been doing on asitwas.net.
That was me. I was glad to see the boat hook in the gatehouse and the Phantom out of the tree when we came back. I'm working on another video myself with some shots of that ice you captured. Glad it all worked out!
The effects come from Neumannfilms. He's on RU-vid, great bunch of presets I use all the time. I edit with Adobe Premiere Pro but I'm learning to use FCPX.
