I bench tested a 12-volt relay with a 12-volt battery and then refitted back onto the vehicle not realizing i had somehow damaged the relay , which damaged an electrical track in a circuit board😢.
Even though they had a lot of issues I always was amazed by the DC10 massive aircraft and was fortunate to fly in one a couple times back in the early 90s
That reminds me of my uncle's retirement from squadron leader when he became bird colonel. Family story is is that since you was a bird colonel was unable to fly because they invested too much in them that he had a desk job and by the time you make bird colonel they ask you when would you like to retire with capturing you. Knowing that he was assigned to another duty station a few months before the date that he was supposed to retire. The BET was to see if they could retire before the date that he sent to retire. . I hope you understand this joke, it's a little dry. The ending of this story is that he was on the tarmac with a clipboard judging his touching goes getting peppered by the runways small debris. So there's a full bird colonel with a clipboard on the runway getting peppered from the touching goes. We will laugh at her laughing in heaven though he is not passed. DEUC
I live in the Sacramento area, during fire season CalFire’s McClelland airport houses their main fleet of air tanks, which they all seem to fly over our house at low altitude to stay out of commercial air space. We don’t need to watch the news to know if there is a lot of fires, we just count the planes.
