Did you know, CTM stands for Cars, Trucks, and Motorcycles?
Back in 2009, after getting out of the Army, Matt Okerson was trying to decide what career path to choose. Inspired by a tv show and his love of restoring and flipping vehicles, CTM Customs was born. With customizing trucks being so popular here in South Florida, CTM quickly built a reputation in the truck world.
Fast forward 9 years later and CTM Customs is more than just trucks. We have lived up to our name by customizing countless cars, trucks, and motorcycles. We are now a fully staffed custom automotive shop, employing ASE certified mechanics, and utilizing top of the line equipment. One thing that hasn't changed is the customer experience you receive here at CTM Customs. We will always take the time to listen to and understand your needs and make sure that when you leave here you will be talking about us to all your friends and family.
Ridiculous to change the original suspension architecture on these trucks, hurt your mileage , your final drive ratio , higher center of gravity , just for mean looks, and diminished bank account. DUMB
These newer trucks don't need a lift unless you are running a much bigger tire. 35" tires on factory suspension and you are done. With a lift the tires look way too small for the truck. My opinion anyway.
Really love the Zone kit, just wish it was a non-torsion bar drop design, I personally just don't like those bars hanging down under the truck. Bummer, this would be the kit I got if it didn't drop the bars! Truck look awesome though, great work.
Love these cars-the '81--'84 Coupes! I have had a number of them, and once bought an original '81 that had a '73 Eldo 500 and 'a TH400 to replace the original Buick 4.1 V-6, yes, this was available and much better than the HT4100. It is a long story but the car's previous owner, a MSP officer, had the engine/trans replaced, smacked a deer, scrapped the car, and I bought it wrecked in the grill/header/radiator/bumper area, but otherwise good, for $250, and the 500 ran GREAT! I had since removed the engine, to build for an '84 Coupe my friend and I went to FL to get, for the body. The HT4100 in it turned out to have a broken crank. It and the TH200R4 have been scrapped. Now onto the 500 build for the car, which started acquiring parts almost 20 years ago, but delayed due to a friend setting my home on fire resulting in a loss of all of the parts I had for the engine (and one for my lowered '98 Chevy 3500) including a set of KB hypers and stock pistons for a 500; MTS MT5 and MT10 cams, lifters, springs; a set of special Caddy 7" H beam rods and shot-peened stock rods, and numerous gasket and cleveite bearing sets...so my project continues.Oh, and I started out as a Ford lover in the 60's as my dad worked for Ford. I switched to BBC's in 2000 after reading the article "Torque Pig" in the July '00 issue of Hot Rod Magazine, and having recently before purchased an '84 Coupe deElegance with a bad HT4100.
