Tripp behaved in a predatory, manipulative way, then said she was just being a patriot. What a nasty, venomous, empty person. She hated Clinton, wanted the money and sense of importance, and took it out on a confused young woman.
naw, I stand on Linda's side, Monica was a hoe and the president was too, they both got uncovered by Linda, they were both doing something nasty. Get a divorce if you wanna cheat, and Monica needs to look at a single man not a married man. People have been such a shit to Linda, only whores would defend Monica and Clinton... Linda did the right thing.
I am so happy that Monica addressed the double standard of married men having affairs and yet the women with whom they have the affairs are ridiculed and blamed. People lose sight of the fact that he was over twice her age, manipulative and a serial cheater... she was 21, naive and idealistic... the absolute top shelf recipe for grooming.
Linda Tripp was horrible doing that to that young girl. I know that had to cause her to have trust issues. Im sure that she will always have trouble trusting new people that she comes in contact with.
I can relate to her. I was in a similar situation with a guy from my work years ago and I was also in my early twenties. He was older then me and was with somebody else. He was not the President but you would think he was the way people acted around him and treated him. He did me the same way Bill did her, Threw me away like a piece of trash. Monica Im on your side Honey!
In her conversations with Linda Tripp she made fun of Paula Jones and the women who accused Clinton and talked about how great it was that Bills lawyers were exposing the bad stuff in Paula Jones past and she gave a talking points memo to Linda Tripp telling her to say another clinton accuser was a liar. Maybe this was her karma.
This is so embarrassing. The adults in her life really failed her, they should not have let her do these books and programs so soon, her horrible book and interviews did nothing to improve her image, she gave out even more unnecessary information about her sexual history and only highlighted her mental and emotional immaturity. But she is a beauty.
What I find most upsetting is that someone this silly and childish was able to get a prestigious internship through connections rather than merit. Her parents are millionaires and her nither married a multi millionaire media mogul who got her the internship. She had no fear of messing up and spent her time flirting and fantasizing about meaningful eye contact when she should have been working and was rewarded for her bad behavior, having been set to get a prestigious high paying job thru the president (he offered her a cushy UN position in NY and it wasnt good enough for her so he got her at Revlon). In getting these positions she robbed qualified, interested people of opportunities she truly did not have the intellectual capacity or maturity to handle.
Poor kid. The justice people bullied her unconscionably. Indefensible. Telling 22 year old girl she ll face 30 years in prison and so will her mom. Ugh.
He only represents himself but I agree with him and think that doing all these publicity things so soon, like her book, the Barbara Walters interview, this, only hurt her more. She hadn't really processed things and in many ways proved people right in terms if her immaturity and lack of insight at the time. She should have waited till things died down to avoid further trauma. Her parents are multi millionaires- her dad independently and her mother married a media mogul worth upwards of 50 million so she didnt have to do this to pay her legal bills.
if the government put this much time into solving problems like drug addiction and homelessness... The whole government/media rallies together, "DID SHE SUCK HIS DICK?!?!" ... who cares dude...
Its funny how shes being blamed for not keeping it quiet... Maybe the president shouldnt have put this young woman in this situation in the first place. Bill shady af.
I’m torn about my opinion on Monica. I guess we can all take the moral high ground but I guess u don’t know until u are in the situation. I think she was treated shabbily by men I’m referring to that teacher she had the affair with totally putting the blame on her when he was the older man and didt take any responsibility his courting the press is disgusting like he’s the victim. I get she is sick of that with blame always being on the other woman. But I think women should have a bit of loyalty to other women and imagine what it’s like if the shoe is on the other foot. I think she is a good person and I hope she has happiness in her life.
Self-serving. For her to say she engaged in an affair with a married man and didn't think about his wife but about her family first ignores that he was married and she was not. But one also cannot ignore that he was twice her age and frankly was a corrupt man who used her.
all that time in the white house and she never learned the laws 🙄 we all know she was not a victim some may see it as a victim i don’t think so at all she did made me laugh when there was a noise n she said Linda 🤣
This whole show made me realize how supportive women are and how they reciprocated Monica’s sadness with kindness, while the men came off as only interested on the scandalized version of what they chose to believe. Just food for thought.
I can’t believe that after being a complete bulldog, Ken Starr says in 2004 that he shouldn’t have been put on this. Oh, fuck you, you were so into this at the time.
The best thing she could have done was to keep shut of her mouth. Not to discuss these things with ordinary people but only to the justices. I find this disturbing because she would even talk about the romance that happened. We know it happened but she shouldn't go in to details , but let sleeping dogs lie.
Tells you how utterly pseudo intellectual those 'comedians' are. These dickwads would say the woke things on tv in the 21st century to get those ratings, but this is their real face. Sick.
If you haven't fallen for someone intensely, you wont understand what she has been through. How did she even live through that time when the person didn't even want to meet her? It is beyond me. The pain..
Lamia Mahpara Agreed. I’m 44 now, and I totally see how naive I was at 22 and how I fell for the wrong people. I cannot imagine how difficult it could have been to not feel starry eyed by the president of the United States, the most powerful man in the world (at that time). Imagine being 22 being shamed by the world like it’s your fault when the dude in his 40s breaks your heart and goes on to keep his job and rehabilitate his image so fast while you live in obscurity for 10 years.
She fell in love with Bill Clinton. He was very drawn to her as well. They had a lovely affair. Married people have affairs all the time. No one is at fault!!!
