Congrats. I watched many enjjpt graduation videos for fun because being a fighter pilot in the German Airforce is my dream job after school and perhaps this is the best and the most inspirational by far.
I applied for the Portuguese Air Force academy but unfortunately I wasn't accepted ( a bit sad because of it). I was really happy to see that Portuguese guy to graduate and to see him singing " minha casinha" from xutos. Also great to see people talking about our francesinha
@@PokerZoomer Yes I do. However I am still thinking if it is worth it or not to try to join again as I got a flight attendant license after trying to join and I ended up to not going to college. Over the last 2 or 3 years I realized that aviation is probably the thing I want to do for the rest of my live. My idea is to work a flight attendant for about 10 years then at around 28 yo I will take a pilots license. With all that I somehow still want to serve my country and if the geopolitical situation becomes worst and the nato countries need to call everyone I will go without hesitating
Hey Kevin Smith here, former ENJJPT T-38 IP, 1989-1993. Had a good tour there, totally enjoyed it. But bunch of USAF Academy babies there that thought they were owed a fighter, pretty interesting vibe though. I came from F-11F at RAF Lakenheath before that assignment.
Recommend the new pilots watch on YT: "Flight Safety And Crash Survival-Brigadier General William Spruance(1998)". Protective clothing if worn properly can save lives, so please...prior to engine start until engine shutdown...sleeves rolled down, gloves on, collar up and if you can stand it wear a jacket or watch what fire can do to you as it happened to Gen. Spruance. T-38A IP/Laughlin AFB, 1984-1988/Assistant Flight Commander, Wing Supervisor of Flying, etc. Best wishes in your flying careers. Bravo Zulu !! From ("the old useless white male pilot").
Nicely Done Boys! Awesome to see that fighter pilot culture is alive and well at ENJJPT! Shenanigans, Cold Brew, Farm Animals.... Not sure about the thing with propellers but big props to the lovely Mackenzie! Hope you dudes got the jets you wanted! Fly safe and don't F up... #ATTACK! Shanghai Class 88-02 (yeah; I know; I'm old as fuck... but I've got an air-to-air gun kill, so F you! lol!)
👍🏻 it was a tremendous honor. more challenging than I could have anticipated. Incredibly rewarding ways I did not imagine. More fun than was probably really allowed. and then there was combat; all we wanted, plenty we didn't
@@TwoBagsFullShanghai I hope to see you on a podcast or something. Very interested to hear that air-to-air kill story. I'm just a civilian pilot DQ'd from military aviation due to unwaiverable mild colorblindness and I envy what you military aviators get to experience.
@@desks3674 and on Wednesday 10/11 @ 8:10pm CDT I'll be debuting my "Two Bags Full" RU-vid Channel with Episode 001 of "Warthog Wednesdays", my own weekly podcast! I will be taking questions from the Live-stream Chat & it would definitely be great to have you in the audience!
Literally brings tears to my eyes to see the brotherhood in this room and the dedication of these pilots. Incredibly happy to see most were satisfied with their placements, and hoping one day I'll be in this same room. Congrats to all, and here's to long and fulfilling careers for every one of these incredible pilots!
