WUC is a ukulele club in Worcester, UK formed in 2010. Our members are a beautiful mixture of beginners, improvers and more experienced (not necessarily better 😀) players. The club meets weekly and also plays around 100 gigs each year (when there isn't a lockdown!). We donate gig fees and rattle buckets to raise funds for an annually selected charity. In 2019 we raised over £11k for the local Parkinson's branch and over £1,800 for Children in Need. We are currently raising monies for Alzheimer's Research UK (over £4k to date). The chords with / after them mean you play that chord for 2 beats. If there is no / after the chord then you play the chord for 4 beats. I hope this helps.
This is great! love the group sing. I'm a guitar guy, but the ukulele works so good. I played along with my 3-string guitar in solidarity. A hap-hap-happy version of this song.
Please do me a favour. Every time I listen to this track, I always here this: "you play the game, it's exactly the same" and I even watched Joe Fagin sing it and he seems to mouth "auf wiedersehen" but the words I hear are the same ones I always hear. Even when I slow it down. Can you listen to this again, and tell me what you hear? Thanks 🙂
I love this so much. I've listened and played over and over, trying to get it down. I have a few requests, if you're looking for new material. Two totally different tunes I would love to learn. Mercy by the Ohio Express, and All These Things That I Have Done by the Killers. Thanks
