That is such a rad deck!!! Place looks amazing! - way to lead by example sharing your process and progress. I’m so enjoying your journey. you two lovebirds really are such a stellar team together! 🌺🤙🏼cheers Kat
Watch with amazement as usual the progress you both together make from week to week, I am concerned though,Tash, specifically carrying that wheelbarrow! OK, now Chaplet of Divine Mercy!
Ahhhhhhh!!!! I’m catching UP and so excited to see what has unfolded during the past month. Woohoo Ruben! Past and present Ruben is teamwork at it finest. Very intense and mindful work to put all of that together. Hallelujah there’s running water and HOT at that!🙌🏼
You two are unbelievable! Ruben with your knowledge and Natasha at your side. On the the chile seeds my experience having New Mexico chile seeds sent and planting. They took and grew however, they tasted a cut above the Anaheim ones, had New Mexico soil sent to me and planted more New Mexico seeds...BIG difference with using the soil from New Mexico. For sure the soil made the difference. Amore mama' 🌶🌶🌶
Love the retaining wall, practical and pleasing on the eyes. The amount of work the 2 of you have put in is just crazy. Awesome job. Cant wait for the next one. Be blessed.
Thanks so much! That project was a lot of work but it worked out well. We have another one to build, but it it’s a project t that can wait for the moment! 😅
hi there, i am new to your channel and currently bing watching your vlogs . I am loving the fresh take on your content. both of you are an inspiration. i am not from the US, so could you maybe give me an idea of where you guys are geographically . Also might i suggest that you put the wood stain recipe or any other home made secret that you make into the description. keep up the awesome job you are both doing. Blessings.
Hello! Thank you so much for watching and following along! We are in Northern California- the mountain you see in the distance is Mt Shasta. She makes her own weather sometimes 😂 Welcome!!
I feel for Ruben! I went through the same thing when I installed solar on my bus. And if it makes him feel any better, a "professional" fried my solar charge controller when I hired him to install everything (and refused to replace it). I finally found a wonderful guy that taught me how it all works it and helped me get it all installed. It is very scary not only because how expensive everything is but because of the voltage you're dealing with. It's a major accomplishment for sure! (PS, I'm hoping my intermittent comments are helping your algorithm 🤞!)
Wow. Good for you! I don’t know how he did it. So much tenacity to see it through every stage. That’s crazy that your solar was fried ugh 😩 Glad it’s all ok now!
Those barn doors look beautiful! I may use that stain and oil on a chest I need to refinish! I used linseed on a chest of drawers I refinished many yrs ago. The rags I used to apply it nearly caught on fire though, spontaneous combustion, I had no clue. Just a warning to others who may give it a try!
Yasss 🎉🎉 I love everything about this. You guys have worked so hard and it brought such tears of joy to see your guys meet such a huge milestone! Congratulations you two ❤️🙌🏼 And that sunset though 😻
Ruben, I would like an explanation on how this voodoo stuff works with working water. . . Go slow because I found myself saying WTF? lol Anyways you guys are doing great!!!!
What up Jonny, the voodoo Is real. So… we have a. Agricultural well, this well provides our entire property with water, from the risers sticking out the ground. From there we fill our 1500 gallon tank that is hooked up to our 1/2 horse power pump, that then connect to your pressure tank. This now can hold up to 50 psi of water with about 20 gallons. This then splits into our water softener. Because we have hard water with iron, this cleans the water for our demand hot water heater. From there it provides water to out door shower and connects to the house and does all the normal house stuff. We are fortunate to have gotten our septic system in and everything works in harmony. I hope this helps explain all the madness.
Oo! Love the garlic ideas. I too experimented, put some cloves in a container, changed the water daily and boom, garlic chives☺️ I really enjoyed the longer video showing how productive y’all are every week! Thanks for taking the time to share and probably lots of editing time too. Cheers guys 🤟🏼
Thank you! Ah, I’ll have to try that too! I’m currently sprouting green onions to border the garden bed. Hopefully it deters would-be salad bar thieves! 😂
im doing a remolded too so im like half grid , they make agitators and small water heater on ali express an water distillation and small pumps for showers or camping supplies
Very cool! We got the on demand hot water heater ready to go, but until everything is hooked up, are having great success with a camp shower! It’s all a challenge, but so worth it! Good luck with your endeavor 🙌
There's really no debating. Theres off grid living which by definition means fully non-relying on public utilities such as city water, electric, the city as a whole. But you could have wifi and internet etc. Especially if you had like solsr power etc and still had internet, you definitely could have a computer, phone etc.
