I'm trying not to laugh...the slugs needs to actually touch the tape! It's an electric reaction. Your video wasn't direct...in the very end, the slugs did touch the tape and turned around! Wath it again! Common sense is rare

The instruction sometimes can be incorrect, ie some plants require full sun but can be tolerant to semi shade, but if I put them on that condition plants got burnt. Is your fence area get afternoon sun or morning sun?

I've seen other videos where the copper tape repelled nearly every snail and slug. So it's hard to know why it did not work in this case.

Got a pack of these seeds from a friend. Has anybody tried growing them (one) inside? I've been having good luck with sunflowers and a tomato plant (from seeds out of a whopper from burger king mind you lol) just sitting in my window. Thought one of these would be nice to try...but not wait 2 years to find out...
