This is an amazing segment, very illuminating, inspiring, and not needed but required. Black men’s participation in medicine is paramount not just for the treatment and reduction of western chronic disease processes that in current times our communities are plagued with, but the for the amplification of the confidence, ability, and strength the next generation of black men need. Elimination of confusion for our young black male youth is necessary to produce more black men in stem and more specifically in medicine.
This is BS😮. AS AN ALUMNI this is BS. RACISM will always exist, but spewing this kind of rhetoric only furthers hatred and division. Healing and unity through Christ alone.
Welcome Dr Bradford to THE Ohio State University College of Medicine. We are so glad that you saw the light, escaped from that school up North and are now a Buckeye! Good luck and best wishes for a long and successful career at OSU. Michael Moore, MD OSU '79
Thank you, thank you, thank you for kneeing for all those aborted babies. Yay for kneeling for "systemic" abortion. Yay for Buckeye abortion. YOU care.
Julie Ann Freischlag according to public documents ( you can read it for yourselves) when it comes to defending other women physicians against sexual harrassment from men Julie will not help you but help the harrassers instead. If you are not made of steel do not go into the residency while this woman is still in charge. The whole point of being a woman in charge is to help other women succeed to level the male dominated playing field.
Dr Johnson has ways been positive and optimistic. Most people did not know that she was a Beauty Queen, in the US Virgin Islands either. As her classmate at Howard University, she was top in our class, and I gave her a run for it too😉. I sincere believe that she was born to born to be. Physician and care-giver, a comforter and incredible person. She has always been a person who tells you what she think, and very patient-centered, even then, it is very evident. I wish her all the best that life has to offer. May God life His countenance upon her and her family in her journey, guiding and guarding her.
An Absolute inspiration to everyone. I watch this video weekly to remind me of why i want to be a surgeon. i can overcome so many things. Thank you so deeply for this video. It's changed me more than you know!

Dr. Johnson performed a double mastectomy on my daughter and not only did she do a magnificent job, her kindness has left an indelible impact on me. I held it together emotionally the whole time at the hospital until...as soon as my daughter woke up after surgery she told me the last thing she remembered was Dr. Johnson singing "Somewhere over the Rainbow" to her....I lost it...the tears flowed like a river. What an awesome doctor and truly beautiful human being!!
