“Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand.”― Albert Einstein
This and Joan Clayton are Abel Korzeniowski's finest achievements in this series. They embody to its totality the voluminous nature of the darkness present in the show... its beauty and its despair... Its cries and its hope. And somewhere in never without we find a certain kind of mercy for ourselves and others.
I think this is the most haunting piece of the HOTD soundtrack. You can feel Rhaenyra's rage building up, becoming darker and darker with every second. Daenerys dark themes on GOT (to my belief) didn't go that far as this.
I am sorry but how can you download the full version without having copyrigt issues? RU-vid chopped my videos . I read poems so I appreciate if you can help.
Benim ruhum buralarda John clare in seslendirdiği şiirdeyken beni anlayan bir adam yoktur. Sanırım yalnız kalacağım hep. Ben buyum buralardayım inceyim hassasım
Yes I agree! He seemed out of place in the show. I loved his character, and his acting was good. Just something about him didn’t sit right with me, I wish they had cast someone else to play the part but oh well 🤷♀️😒
I came here from Nocturnal Enemies and I loved the music but I find Penny Dreadful’s Soundtrack it’s even better Love this one the most though Wonderful piece of Music
Ça vie était là à le regarder, sa vie recroquevillé sous une aile blanche d'avion. Il ressentit l'évidence de ce qu'il désirait. ~Timothée de Fombelle in "Vango. Un Prince Sans Royaume" This music fits so well with this scene when the protagonist is reunited with the love of his life he was forced to give up
I can not get enough listening to this beautiful song and I hope there is somebody who can make a beautiful piano song of it ( the OST from Abel K is beutiful ) maybe there is already a person who start with it ( I can not do it ) hope there is. I am still waiting.

Ode: Intimations of Immortality: '' THERE was a time when meadow, grove, and stream, The earth, and every common sight, to me did seem Apparell'd in celestial light, The glory and the freshness of a dream. It is not now as it hath been of yore; Turn wheresoe'er I may, By night or day, The things which I have seen I now can see no more But there's a tree, of many, one, A single field which I have look'd upon, Both of them speak of something that is gone: The pansy at my feet doth the same tale repeat: Whither is fled the visionary gleam? Where is it now, the glory and the dream?'' - William Wordsworth
I have come here from netflix, and loved the show. Season1, and 3 especially were more of a love story. The Closing scene of Frankensteins Monster visiting Vanessa's Grave was powerful.
Hallo Mercurio pianist, If you can make a sheet of Closer than sisters will you if you have time and joy of it, try to make also a sheet of this beatiful song. I am sure more fans of Penny Dreadful songs are happy with it. Thxx a lot for you,re nice music
I loved Dr. Frankenstien and his tale, to be honest that was what kept me watching the show, the burning passion he has for the very fabric that is life, conquering death with science and the backstory, he was by far the deepest character a long with John which he created. Not only that, but the acting these 2 pulled off was so good. Without that this show would have been nothing but a hollow shell. I just want to see more of them, but I think it ended in a good spot with a glimmer of hope in all the darkness.
I dunno, I feel you sell the other actors short. Certainly Rory Kinnear was amazing as Caliban and also when he played Dracula and Lucifer. Eva Green, while on occasion abit cringe, did some wonderful scenes, Billy Piper played a great role as both the irish prostitute and lily. Reeve Carney pretty much encapsulated Dorian Gray.
True, I wanted to see more of them, which made it even harder for me to accept that the show had ended. I think Vanessa, Ethan, and Sir Malcolm were the only characters who were given much clarification regarding their past lives. I mean, in one of the episodes in season 1, we found out in a flashback that Victor actually came from a wealthy family, but it was never revealed why he ended up living in an apartment located in (kind of) a slum area. Dorian's backstory wasn't explored; it would've been nice if Basil or Lord Henry made an appearance or were mentioned, at the very least. Jekyll's violent alter-ego, Hyde, wasn't shown. And of course, the "accident" that Caliban was in before Victor resurrected him wasn't recounted.

I love the show Penny Dreadful but the music is so utterly beautiful. The one music that brings tears to my eyes is when Proteus steps outside for the very first time with Dr. Frankenstein and that beautiful piece starts to play.😔
I always thought tormented creatures never find peace. Always alone, broken and suffering. A beautiful series. Amazing cast, excellent writers, but to me, Caliban was the best..
