Where I share a wide range of ideas, tips and techniques on whatever I happen to be doing that might be useful to others. The purple berry bush I feature in the header of my channel is called Callicarpa Americana, the American beautyberry and is a native shrub of Southern United States, a place in which I feel so blessed to live. American beautyberries produce large clusters of purple berries that wildlife enjoy eating
I wish this were my problem. I have a different fridge but the exact same icemaker. My tray fills just fine it just wont dump!! Ive already replaced the ice maker itself and yet I have the same issue... the new one filled no problem, but it won't dump the ice! Im starting to think there might be an issue with the switches on the side. Any advice? Edit: i just ohmed the switches on the door itself, and they are good. 0.00 resistance with sound. This is driving me crazy esprciallt after replacing the icemaker as a whole itself. New filter too but the old ice tray filled no problem..
thanks for this, worked perfectly when replacing my wife's touchscreen in her Beetle, used this video to remove the beetles stereo ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ECWWDqiKdXU.html, your tutorial to worked perfectly to fix it, thank you.
What size type screwdriver is that for the recessed holes? My power chair lights won't turn off when I press the button. The chair doesn't move but the lights stay on. When I press the button to turn in on it moves but it emits a continuous beep. It's led a tough rural life and probably needs a deep clean. I just need the right tools.
well, next time you can just fill some of the low spots...and adter the 5th color all the surfaces are filled up 100% anyways...who cares...? ever taken of one of the side panels of a 3-6 yrs old car? guess how much rust is under those seams and in those hidden places...sure, for some collector this is all heresy, but from a technical standpoint it is a perfect conservation🤷♀️others intendedly take an old truck and give it an artificial rusty vintage surface, so ehy not? as long as you like it and it is technically sound? looks cute...! show the other colors too!
that is far better than people trying to patch up holes! kkkkk this rustoleum stuff can sit on that car now as a sealer, looks cool and vibtage, and any time he wants it can just be smoothed over with 300 grit, gets an epoxy wash primer or someth8ng and a paint job....nothing lost, just good thick sealer! kkkkk👍i.m on your side 100% ! better than a rusty Audi 100 5 yrs old and did zero after paying 50-70 grands.....kkkk
simply fill the rusty and prepped spots with a first brush on layer of rustoleaum , let it sit for a week...then smooth that over and it all will be smooth...but regarding the paint wuality that this car originally had anyways, you are far more authentic than any crazy high price piant job shop anywYs! looks nice! and 100 bucks or less ...why not? the bumpers can be sprayed with some crome or metallic finish rather than the cheap matte wheel silver, but honestly, it looks cute!
Hi, I bought the engine on Haliexpress, with the plastic gear, and I just assembled it and it's finally good! Attention, on my new motor I had to change the connection of the wires to the motor, because it was rotating in the opposite direction!
Thanks for the review! I had no idea it had a weird blade on it for the self-sharpening feature. You helped me avoid a possible bad purchase. Think I'll stick with a Wen or something much cheaper than this saw. I need to cut up a fallen tree but I'll probably never use it again.
depends on if you send me your sight to modify or if I buy one to mod....the Marlin parts are getting hard to find since Ruger purchased the brand.....such a disappointment since Marlin rifles have always been superior and still are ...to Ruger 10-22 ....in my opinion
The rotating gear in the bottom of the ice tray wasn’t interlocking tightly with the motor gear in the door…on my Whirlpool fridge. I looked on the Whirlpool site to buy the gear and all they had was the whole ice tray door for some $267.00. So I found a thin washer that fit between the ice tray gear which essentially pushed the upper gear down into the lower gear tightly and it works perfect! Cost me nothing! You only remove the one screw that holds the ice tray cog/gear…remove the gear…install the washer and put the gear/screw back in…easy! Save yourself a chunk of money.
Dissimilar materials. Different expansion rates. . An aside: During a slow-motion film of a running engine, valves flop around like flowers in a wind-storm. Lucky any sealing happens at all.
Water or mineral spirits is fine for a quick check of valve seat, but if you want to make sure they are completely sealed you’ll need to vacuum check each port. If they pull and hold vacuum they are good to go. Liquid is really only good if you’re checking the c.c. Of the heads.
The surface tension is too high with regular water unless it's a really bad leak. Either use gas/mineral spirits or add soap to the water to break the surface tension. Also not a bad time to CC the chamber after the machine work.
Correct to much surface tension just water but using compressed air back from ports is the way to do it with mineral spirits in chambers you'll see the air bubbles migrate around valve into the spirits and go straight to the surface. Very positive way of doing it also you can avoid rust flashing. This tells you nothing except for maybe being mediocre sealing ! Also can use a vacuum plate on it with a vacuum source, and watch for leak down rate with gauges.
Hi nice video, I am installing the same kit this weekend. The method you demonstrate, installing the seal into the retainer first, then putting both onto the engine at once, seems like a better way to keep things aligned. A couple of Q's: - when pressing the seal into the retainer, does it go flush with the surface? I am wondering if I can carefully use a block of wood and hammer to install it as I don't have a press - also, do you recommend commend any kind of threadlocker or sealant on the surrounding bolts? Thanks for the video
I used a very thin film of silicon on both sides of the gasket and nothing on the bolts. I do not recall seeing the bolt holes being clear into the block. If the holes are open then I would have used a sealer on the threads. Please let me know what you find about the holes
LMFAO - this is what happens when you try to act "smart"! 130 centimeters is 51.18 INCHES! I don't really believe those pickups are 51 inches from the tabletop! Maybe you should STOP using a metric tape measure, since you obviously don't really know how to even read it.
yep, I meant to say mm but my brain came up with cm in the moment. not a big deal in this case but yeah....if I was ordering something it would be a huge surprise..been there and done that
Sorry I'm not a member of the Starship Enterprise...this is beyond me despite your good intentions...i would lose some screws, end up swearing, probably end up falling out with the wife, possible divorce, and more than likely the unit would binned...im not very technical, and admire people who have the ability to do stuff like this...but i haven't the the urge to do so...just wish it was easier to fix.
There are terrible because you need to buy they expensive tool to re-attach them. Using a vise won't work, not sure why you suggested that, I'd like to see a video of you attaching them back together with a vise. Good Luck
