Rock On Ninja! I think my favorite weapon is the manriki chain. It's a bit like nunchaku/flails but also basically the same as the length of chain which street gangs sometimes used to use. easy to carry, range over a knife & hits surprising hard!
Thanks for another Weapons Wednesday! If someone is going to get the blowgun, that person will need extra darts. I have a different model of blowgun that I've had for seven or eight years. If I'm shooting regularly, darts are always getting lost or damaged. As a TEOTWAWKI weapon, a blowgun needs hundreds of darts. These smaller darts are probably more susceptible to bending that some of the bigger darts made for the higher-caliber blowguns. I'm curious how effective these darts would be for hunting. I've hit mice with thicker darts and not gotten good kills. The Ninja Spike Keychain is interesting. I like weapons that don't require that much real training to use. Some people are good and landing punches and others are not. All of these punch-enhancing weapons are only effective when one can land a punch. Even so, many attackers get close enough that landing a punch isn't that hard. The hard part is landing a punch with enough power to make the attacker stop. This device might be able to do that. I just wouldn't want to be punching with a bunch of keys flopping around one end. I generally remove the keychain from most of my kubatons. I do have a single key on the Shar-Key device that KarateMart sells. That's a single key to get into my shop. The Dark Scorpion Throwing Knives are cute. I'm just not a good knife thrower. The Black Ninja Manriki Chain is also cute. I just don't have any skill with this type of weapon. The twenty-four-inch chain seems a little short for serious combat. As an exercise tool, this one would be the best of the video because the movements involved in learning to use one of these would be good exercise. If I'm picking weapons for my arsenal, I would certainly pick the Ninja Spike Keychain. I like the idea of being able to add some kind of fist load that is easy to conceal. My health is such that I probably don't win in a fight, but if I'm against a single opponent and land one good punch, I like having that punch be more effective. My second choice would be difficult. If I knew for certain that the darts were big enough for small game hunting, I'd pick the 54-Inch Predator Blowgun. While blowguns aren't easy, making a hit with a dart is easier than making a hit with a throwing knife. I have taken a few mice with another blowgun. If I weren't sure, I might pick the throwing knife set. While I don't have that much use for throwing knives, I could see wiring one of these to the end of a broom handle to make a spear. Granted, this spear wouldn't be the best ever made, but it would have value.
@@podsmpsg1 sure! But, that definitely depends on the person using it. I wouldn’t suggest a knife as a self-defense weapon to most people because they don’t have the training to use them effectively. That was an excellent question! Have an awesome week, my friend!
Cop: "Why do you have pockmarks on your neck?" Attacker: "He used a Kubotan!" Cop: "Kubotans don't have two points like that, there is no shame in saying it's a Vampire." Attacker: "Yes there is because it was not a Vampire!!"
That’s a great question! It depends on the length of the blowgun, but I used to practice at around 40 feet. They could definitely be effective at a longer distance, but that’s the distance I practiced at. Thanks so much for watching!
@@jamesallenyz431 the darts we use in our videos are standard target darts, but they sell specialized darts with broadheads that are used for hunting. Thanks so much for watching!
I am all for protecting yourself. However, I was picking an apple of a tree on a street in Red Deer. As soon as the guy saw me he shot out of the door with Thea huge 4 foot long zapping stun gun. This dude wasn’t a happy person and would have harmed me. I think this is overdone and these things should be iillegal unless your life is in danger!
Hi Rick! If you have any questions, please call or email our customer service team anytime. Our email is Service@KarateMart.com. Thanks so much for watching!
I got one too. I removed the grip tape and painted the handle portion gold and rewrapped it with cloth baseball grip tape that has extra padding to save my hands from poor weighting. For those who don't have one, it's very handle heavy and awkward to use at first so be careful when fighting the demon king with these things.
Thank you! If you are referring to me (Kyle), I’m making videos on the Kombativ_com RU-vid channel now. Check me out there! Thanks so much for all your support!
There was a time when it was illegal to own in nunchakus in Arizona, California, Massachusetts and New York. Does anyone know the current status of legally owning nunchakus in said states? 😀😀😀
You’re right! The laws have changed drastically with nunchaku over the last few years. I was subpoenaed as part of the court process when they were being legalized in New York, and interviewed on the news when they were legalized In Arizona. However, it’s still very important to check your local laws before carrying them, because some municipalities are still strict on them. Thanks so much for watching and for your awesome comment! I hope you have an excellent weekend!
The spiked knuckles are really cool I got a pair of the dark spiked knuckles and they are awesome 😎🤙…..the metal is comparable to the steampunk heavy dark knuckles with the leather covered palm brace 😎🤙
I really appreciate that! That is very kind of you to say! Thank you so much for watching and for your kind comment! I hope you have an excellent week!
That Hatchet/Tomahawk. The back part is a skull cracking a skull. The wrench is for turning on Oxygen. If your a fire fighter, and wear an oxygen mask. Yeah, that's what that cut out is for.
That’s very interesting about the wrench cutout. I didn’t know that, but it makes sense. Thanks so much for your comment and for watching! I hope you have an excellent week!
@@Karatemart Okay, I looked at that axe/hatchet, and it looks like it might be a "Rescue" tool, perhaps used by firefighters. That wrench could also maybe open a fire hydrant. And as was pointed out, it has a rope cutter. So there is that.
