By FAR ny favorite version as I search the web for ukulele versions of this...this one tops all! One thing I noticed...when you go into the run that starts with Dm, in the little chord chart you have at the right side of the screen, the Ebdim7 chord and the B7b9 chord show the same finger positions, throwing me off a little bit but even if I'm missing the proper finger position for one of those chords, it still sounds good.Which one of those is the correct chord?
Hi Cynthia. Do you have any exercises that i could use to increase my stretch as I am struggling to make chords which need adjacent fingers to be 2 frets apart. e.g. 0 7 5 3. Thanks.
This is the best tutorial for beginners. I just got my first Uke last week and you taught me this in just 30 mins. Thank you!! I would love to learn "Tears of a clown by Smokey Robinson" if at all possible please to play for my best friend. And again, Thank you!
Hello, Ia Orana, Aloha, (Ôté), I'm from Réunion Island (Indian Ocean) and starting to learn Ukulélé. Right now, to hard to sing in the same time but... I will do it. Thank you, Mauru' Ru, (Merci bien)
This is the first song I learned on ukulele and you are my first and only ukulele teacher. Thank you SO much for your teaching style. I first tried this a few years ago and gave up. Then I began guitar lessons during the pandemic. I'm in my mid-60's (which means it's never too late to learn something new!). Recently I pulled my ukulele out of it's little bag and oh my gosh, I can play this song!!! Finally. I am so excited. Finger strength does come with time and practice. You are right about that. Thanks again!!
It's 32 degrees Celsius here in southern Germany on this August 27th. One of the hottest days in 2024. Gingerbread (Lebkuchen) and Christmas loaf (Christstollen) have been on the shelves in the supermarket since today, so a Hawaiian Christmas song fits perfectly. Besides, it is not even four months until Christmas, so happy holidays...
Now that I have been able to chuck for the past six months, I can go back to some songs that I learned at the beginning of my ukulele practice to add the chuck. The one that really needed it is "The Lion Sleeps Tonight"
