All your videos are on the 5th wheel trailer, can you do some videos on the smaller trailers? We have the Blazen 185LTE. Thank you and God Blass you. Chaplain Stephen Hall...
Tengo un problema que no el deslizante se mete solo de un lado y cuando sale igual me podrías ayudar gracias por tu video saludos desde Carolina del Norte
Hey guys, I’m glad I stumbled across your video. You called us a reset procedure but page 26 of the manual says it’s a manual override procedure and specifies to re-sync the motors after you do this. Just saying I’m gonna try your procedure as I’m having issues with my slide. Going out one side seems to lead the other. I’ve tried to re-sync procedure prior to trying yours and it didn’t work. Hopefully your process will fix my issue. Thanks for the informative video.
PS an added note. I was always told never lubricate the tracks, but your video says to lubricate them. I ordered some of the lube you specified and once I get the slide out, I’m gonna lubricate it. Thanks for that info. Greatly appreciated.
Yes this is my understanding too. If you actuate the system while in this override mode, the controller will power both motors and ignore any feedback. In my case this gets everything working. Otherwise, both my motors fail due to error 8 and I suspect my system is just overloaded with weight and/or lack of lubrication (going to lube it!) as it would be very unusual to have both motors (or cables) fail for the same reason. I have an enormous slideout and its possible its also just poorly designed/specified.
You get severe unwanted body twist if you level side to side with the old faithful front electric landing gear. I recommend front to rear leveling only with those jacks.
Thanks for the Sail Switch Tip. Good Info!!! Curious can you guys do a video on switching out the Porch Light for an Amber Light? Every time I open my door at nighttime I get a swarm of moths with the White LED Porch Light.
I have a 2023 Genesis with the 5500. It has the option in the switch panel to start the gen automatically when voltage reaches a set level. Can the features you are showing here regarding control via an app be retrofitted to units like mine?
Mine is in the shop getting new brakes. (I was afraid if I didn’t replace them, we’d all be in court after I pushed some moron that cut me off into a semi’s back end.). I’ll take a pic. Exact same buttons and described function.
At some point, you guys gotta let me come down to the plant and do an interview on the podcast and do a feature on my normal normal regular RU-vid channel
This was super helpful. We got a new rig and the rear slide got stuck about 4 inches out. We were able to reset the controller thanks to your video and it’s fixed. Sigh😅 Thank you for posting this!
You guys should make this exact model with a 14 foot garage. It would greatly reduce the weight! I need this model with the 8 foot living quarters, and 14 foot garage! Hopefully one day it happens!
My husband just put in a new controller for the living room slide. But one motor is going in when the other motor on that slide is going out. The called Lippert and they said that the controller was wired wrong???? What the.... How do we fix this
I just found this randomly the other day so I switched it. Just got my hauler a couple weeks ago and installed lithium right off the bat. What is the reason for this? I tried to look online. Does it allow higher voltage charging or something?
