Hi! For the summer I'm staying in bound planners and in fall I'll be going to my ring planner. I want to take a break from the structure for now. Thank you for watching! 💙🥰
Love, love, love your starting set-up. It shows such variety within minimalism & that would make me want to keep at it. Speaking of inspiration, isn't <mochibujo> just the best❣? 1Book July--I can't do it. Need at least 2 books and something to catch what's not in the other 2 (can't pack light, either!) Started today with the Bujo Pocket TN with 2 inserts + 2 journals. We'll see. Dailies are my bedrock. I'd have nothing but chaos without them. I blame/credit Boho Berry...remember her? Pens--I don't know how I functioned before my EF Vanishing Point Decimo. All I know for sure is...go for it! Great start. TFS!
Thank you! I definitely get having at least another journal besides the main planner! Ah, Boho Berry, I miss her videos, she was one of the BuJo RU-vidrs I was following when I discovered the bullet journal 😢 I am happy that there are such wonderful bujo channels out there now, and MochiBujo is definitely one of my faves ❤ 😊
I love 5mm, I wish I could do the 3mm! 🤣 My handwriting is larger so I feel most comfortable in 5mm grid. I do wish companies offered their notebooks in different grid sizes.
Yes! I used it for my work since I'm a PM on a project and there's so much going on! Carpe Diem makes really cute affordable planners and inserts. My current ring planner is a Moterm Personal but I use it with Franklin Compact size inserts. 💙
I don't have a separate follow up video for it, but I mention it in my other ring planner video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8C077AEppXY.html Thank you for watching! :)
I feel so hesitant to get a twsbi eco coz first of all its expensive at my place. . .i can only get one for myself, secondly im concerned about the acrylic near the nib cracking
I totally understand! TWSBI is not the most expensive pen, but definitely not the cheapest. I would recommend Platinum Preppy - they are amazing pens and very inexpensive. They come in many colors and definitely are a great fountain pen ❤
@@zenglyph i would have bought the twsbi eco, it's Rs5000 in India which is way to costly for an Indian. . . As the eco has a chance of acrylic cracking near the nib and it's very hard to get service in india via twsbi, I won't buy(I would have bought only one twsbi in my lifetime). . .I decided to go for the kaweco sport
Great collection. Appreciate the review. I love how tomeo river paper chunks up as it gets used through the year. Have a good week and thanks for the video.
I’m so glad you made this video, I was getting discouraged and didn’t want to get a larger planner or a personal wide planner. I will check out FC Compact inserts!!
You are so welcome! I'm glad the video was helpful! I feel like FC Compact size is a perfect combo of being small enough and having enough room for planning and writing needs ☺
Hi! 💖 The floral one is from Carpe Diem, here is the link to their store, it depends on the availability (sometimes it is also on Amazon): carpediemplanners.com/ The personal wide is from this shop on Etsy: www.etsy.com/shop/Paperboundcreations
That's a great perspective: empty planners mean you've been busy and also enjoying life! I always felt like an empty planner meant I was failing but it's opposite! You have so many nice planners!
Thank you, Greg! I used to be upset at myself for not using every page or keeping up with my planners, but I realized, my planners are to help me and to bring my joy, they are not a task or a job. I want them to be a fun part of my life and I need to be ok with not using them all the time :)
I've been wondering how the Hibino worked out for you. I started my year in it but fell off around Feb. Now, I use it to write a few lines per day before I go to bed. I am staying consistent with my Sterling Ink weeks vertical. I need to my week at a high level and this gives me the view I need. I jumped on the bujo but I'm struggling. Then I got the little pocket one and meh, it's alright. Now, I'm waiting for some personal size inserts to arrive and put in my new ChicSparrow cover. All the while, I'm wanting to purchase a disc planner. Clearly I'm loosing my mind😅
Yes, this year ended up being a struggle keeping up with my planners, and other things too like reading or knitting 😭 I hope that focusing on just a couple of planners helps me, but I always keep an eye on new ones, it's exciting to see what's out there 😉🤭🥰
Recently I have been using the a9. I got mine from Amazon as well, just like yours. I use mine all the time . I have even made pockets for it. I love that I can carry it in my purse and it doesn't take up too much space ❤😊
Oh my goodness, A9 is so adorable! Totally portable! What did you use to make the pockets and what do you hold in them? Thank you for watching the video! 💖
That was one gorgeous unboxing! Mochibujo is an incredibly gifted bujo-er -- her set-ups are so beautiful, calming and inspiring. I am SO crushing on the Notebook Therapy brand. May have to try this size as a long-form journal, since it can take a fountain pen and even my watercolor pencils. Beginning this month, I'm using 2 of the new Pocket Bullet Journals in an A6 TN cover: 1 as a regular bujo (weeklies, dailies, notes, impressions, etc.) and the other as an Annual/Reference-I-just-refuse-to-keep-copying-this-info notebook(year, month, future log, stats). Thanks for sharing such beauty!🌹
Wow, I’m so glad I came across your channel. I love this size TN. The wide spine, the color, pockets, price point, etc are all just perfect! Thank you! Liked and Subscribed 📚
I like the way you decorate. It's close to my own style. I attended my first planner meet up and was surprised to find almost all of the people were in disc bound planners. For me, summer is my busiest month with birthdays and anniversaries, so lots of cake and parties. Have a good week and see you in the next video.
Thank you! We have so many birthdays in July! Summer is definitely a busy and a fun season 🥰 I haven't been to any local planner meetups, but I can see how discbound planners can be a popular thing, they are what you usually find in local craft stores, right? Thank you for watching, have a wonderful week! ❤
Great post, as always! I'm a member of Bujo U, the awesome Bullet Journaling community, so I'm familiar with the method, etc. As you have a love for small, cute journaling items, I wondered if you were aware of the newest bujo iteration - the Pocket, which contains 3 A6 size journals inside of brilliantly conceived and implemented packaging. Mine should arrive next week and I can't wait to get started. I don't have a consistently busy life at present, so it will probably be a perfect fit. Sorry to be an enabler for spending your hard-earned $$$, but for me, this is my investment for the rest of the year. TFS!!
Thank you! ❤ Yes! I found out about the pocket BuJo literally 30 min after I ordered this Artist one LOL I could've shipped them together if I realized sooner! It is definitely on my list of notebooks to get, I am trying to pace myself as I already have another bullet journal in the mail ooops ;)
Yes, this video is helpful. I just started bullet journaling and so far I like it. Using this system has revealed that I spend a lot of time on tasks and not enough time on pursuing the interest that I want. Now that I see this, I can shift my activities to align with my pursuits. The simplicity of bullet journaling removes the distraction and pressure that I found myself caught up in while at the same time, offers the occasion to do so when I want a pop of color, or some art. I learned a thing or two from your video such as the distinction of moving tasks and using the stickers outside of the journal. Thanks for filming.
Thank you, Karen! I'm glad the video was helpful 😊 Thank you for your insight, this is my motivation behind the bullet journal as well - I want to discover patterns in what I do and become more mindful of my time and energy. I am very busy at my job and I haven't been having/ giving energy to my interests (this channel is the only thing I refuse to give up ❤). Thank you for watching and supporting this love of mine! 💕
I just started bullet journal. So, far I like it. I'm attracted to the simplicity and the intentionality of the method. Thanks for your review. I enjoy your videos.
Thank you, Karen! ❤❤❤ I've been drawn to start a bullet journal again, its simplicity is so calming. I'm thinking to start with a pocket size one so there is less pressure.
I bought my Moleskine daily and September leather cover because of you. And energel clena sepia too 😂. I got inspired by your set-up.and recommendations. Keep making more videos. ❤
How are your moleskines holding up in that cover? I had moleskine last year and really liked it except the strings seemed to compromise the binding in my book. The pages got. little loose which drove me crazy. Might be the way i put the book in or i had a defective one
My notebooks held up well, I put the strings in the back of the notebook and that seemed to work out. I did hear that some notebooks hit and miss. Like that pagemarker that fell out just after 3 months 😞
Thank you for watching!!! 💕💕💕 FC is a wonderful system and I really love how minimal and calm Carrara edition is. I'll make sure to share my progress 🥰
Love the pocket size and I have a few of them it just never really worked for me. But you make me want to get it. Beautiful color and as always great video
Thank you for watching!!! 🥰 Pockets are so cute! I feel that they make a great reference planner since the small size can make it challenging to write in if you have lots going on. 💙
Hi! All the items you see I found on Amazon. Moterm passport kit (that had kraft folder and frosted pouches, passport-sized canvas wallet and Stalogy A6 that I cut down to pocket size. ❤
Thank you! 🥰 If you have Personal Wide, the FC size for that would be the same one I've got, Compact. FC comes in Classic, which is basically half sheet or A5, Compact which is 0.5 inch wider than Personal (4.25"x6.75")l and Pocket, which is 3.6x6". PW is a bit wider than Compact, but it is the closest size.
I’ve been a FC planner since it was first adopted by businesses in the 80s. They sent a Rep to my business to conduct a seminar. I used FC my entire career. I always manage to have one on hand. It was never far from me. I used it for business and home. I found that having the monthly tabs right before each month of dailies worked best. 3 months at a time is what they recommend, as you said. They offer online courses. For anyone in business, FC is definitely the way to go! I’m finding planner peace with my Moleskine Daily….thanks to you! Keep us updated on your journey ❤
Thank you, Linda! It's interesting how these things come around the full circle! I still love my Moleskine pocket but I need my structure to go after my goals. I hope this year will be the start and FC can help me out. I am happy to hear that I found a solid, helpful system 🥰❤ Here is to planner peace! 🎉🎉🎉
