My whole life I have been hearing ragas like Desh, Bindravani Sarang, Miyan Malhar with Re ma (shuddha). I have fallen in love with this raga as soon as I heard the Re Ma(teevra) of this raga; the phrase keeps coming in my mind again and again. Very well explained sir, thank you for the informative video!
Absolutely amazing! Nitin ji was absolutely phenomenal but his supporting flautist is also mind blowing! The grace of both the flautists are really good. Really appreciate.
For the Bansuri, you can contact Satyabrataji. I am pasting his contact details below. You can contact him and give him Nitin Amin's reference for the E-Flute. www.satyabrataflute.com/ At-Nandol, Po- Bhatapada, Via, Bahugram, Odisha 754200, India
Sir, I find your videos, and teaching method very effective for me. You are effectively teaching us "how to fish"", as compared to "giving us a fish." But I am struggling to apply "the Chalan" of Raag. Meaning if I read the Swaras, Arohas, Avrohas, Chalan, Pakad of a Raag, how do I know how to sing it, how to "flow"it. I will make a raag to expalin my question (Note my made example may not follow accepted convention. Aroha S r G g m P d N Avroha NdPmgGrS Pakad Sa Ga Ma Pa dha dha Ma Ga Reading above how do I sing it. How do I connect the notes, flow the notes etc. Thanks
Thank you for your kind words. Your struggle is shared and resonated by many listeners of Hindustani Classical Music. Would it be possible for you to join this course designed for you? Most of your questions will be answered here and the rest can be addressed in the live sessions that we hold regularly. ragasphere.trainercentralsite.in/course/fundamentals-of-raga-music
आप मूल बातों से शुरुआत कर सकते हैं पर -ragasphere.trainercentralsite.in/course/bansuri-fundamentals---hindi

Namaste! This is a very interesting question, the answer for which may require its own video. Can you please email us on contact@ragasphere.com so that we can address this question in more detail and send you the explanation you require. Thank you!
Thx for one more great video. Saw an old video of yours on pahadi raag. Can you plz help in explaining if we treat madhyam as sa , then re ga pa dha and higher sa will transpose on which original notes . Eg will re fit on original pa. Also the lower ga , pa , dha will come on which original notes. Kindly help as not am able to get this information elsewhere. Thx
Yes, you are absolutely right...On the lower side, the Re will become Dh and the Sa will become Pa. So you get the entire scale of Bhoop. However, the tanpura is set to madhyam instead of Pancham while playing Pahadi. This helps identify with the Ma as the new Sa.
So nice raag every raag shoud be sung by u so everyone can learn nicely I always listen u I m also flute learning and your video is so helpful ❤thank u sir online bhi aap sikhate hai sir I m from Gujarat in Ahmedabad
