Everyone that sees this theory always says the same thing. That Goofy Goobers reminds them of Chuck E. Cheese. Well, if you're an older Millennial (like myself), you remember back in the 80s and early 90s that restaurant that Goofy Goobers was more like...was McDonalds. The dancing peanut, Goofy Goober, was basically Ronald McDonald. Every kid loved him. I didn't know a SINGLE KID EVER who thought the original Chuck E. Cheese robot was awesome or inviting. He was a scary dude. It's what Five Nights at Freddy's is based off of, you know. Scary animatronics is not something I would want kids around. But, Ronald McDonald was the guy that kids loved. He was bigger than Barney the Dinosaur back in the day. And the food was so addicting your life would literally change based on whether your mother would let you go there to eat or not for lunch or dinner after school. And, yes, nowadays, the place is more family friendly instead of a kids place, and the chicken nuggets are now made with white meat, but back then, those nuggets were like crack to us kids. They were greasy, dark meat, like from the legs and thighs of chickens. It was like chicken Krispy Kremes or something. You would do ANYTHING for chicken nuggets. And, those commercials. They were very culty feeling. Something always seemed so OFF about them. The kids were very over the top excited acting like this was the best place in the world to be. And they practically peed themselves when Ronald came over to their table to hang out. So, yeah, McDonalds is Goofy Goobers, but nowadays it's lost that creepy feeling.
