Hogwarts did seem to lend itself to certain playthroughs. The obvious one was Slytherin, as Sebastian's quest line is probably the largest outside the main quest, and for a Slytherin player who is pursuing the Dark Arts, it's thematically perfect. Creeping through spooky ruins with Seb, locating Salazar's scriptorium, going through a dark art trial and all the time learning more and more forbidden magic from Sebastian, who oddly teaches the player more spells than any single professor at Hogwarts. It's almost tailor made for Slytherin to the point where it's easy to forget you could have played three other Houses. The other for me is Hufflepuff. Animals and plants are such a big part of the game, which lends itself very well to the stereotypical Hufflepuff. Poppy's quest line of taking the fight to the poachers is also a strong element, as you spend most of the game in fact taking down poachers. It weaves in well with Deek's quests, again about preserving beasts from poaching, collecting and caring for them. There just seems to be far less Gryffindor and Ravenclaw themed content to go at, though at least Gryffindor has a major companion in Natsai who has a few good quests to help out on. Amit gets very little to do. He has what, one large mission against the goblins and a short jaunt into Hogwarts grounds to find a table, and that's it. It's almost like they wanted Ravenclaw to be the 'everyman' of Hogwarts, where you're encouraged more to leave behind a House loyalty and engage with the others. I doubt that was intentional though.
Man i choose ravenclaw due to its aspects they uphold. I played all four house and it sucks that's ravenclaw got no love like the house quest at first was interesting but when compare to the others god its so lame and boring, the companies dont have any impact Amit im sorry but he bored me so hard. like hufflepuff got poppy, she is great and their cool house quest but other then that they got shafted which also sucks since honesty hufflepuff and ravenclaw are tied for first for me. gryffindor got the weaselys and natty who is a major character, a decent house ques, other then having pike on other side quest the still suffer but not as bad as the badgers or ravens, and house slytherin got a golden trio, cool house quest, several major quest lines, more character side stories that its kind of unfair. the snakes got the most love.

The Tartan Vest Uniform goes great with the Poachers Coat although I guess Poppy would really hate you if you wear it in front of her!
I’m a RavenClaw though I don’t mind there’s no quests with a companion character in RavenClaw because I think it’s not got any characters that I see as a nice companion
This is great 👍🏻 You are the first to add a commentary, which helped tremendously. Every other walkthrough I’ve watched was too fast and hard to understand. Even with your help, it still took me nearly 3 hours to accomplish. Not to mention, I’ve had to start over completely 4 or 5 times in 3 days. It’s very important to unlock that second bridge that simply leads to a chest. Otherwise, you will find yourself locked in the third room with no blue/red archway. This is why I had to abandon the quest more than once.
If i' rank each' common room. I would say. As a' slytherin. 1 hufflepuff 2 gryffindor 3 slytherin 4 ravenclaw If i rank logo's I' would say. 1 Ravenclaw 2 gryffindor 3 slyrherin 4 hufflepuff I personaly like them all' But if i had to choose' my house' it would be slytherin.

A morality system and house point system would’ve been so much better and fun . Because that’s what Harry Potter is and what Harry did he didn’t just drop in Hogwarts and know everything right away. He had friends enemies struggle . Hogwarts Legacy has none of that along with a boring story that makes no sense and really bugged me about this game. It’s so pretty but so boring I was going through my 2nd play through as a Gryffindor and the dialogue options did it for me i was done.
The mere fact that this has been an issue for years (years past all the books and movie) pretty much proves my point about how Hufflepuff always needs to try to prove to the other houses that they are equal. No other house does this not even Slytherin. Slytherin's may be perceived as evil but not inferior. As in my original comment on this page, perception is reality in this case.
As much as i love ravenclaw house from the common rooms, the best house chest cloak. I just dont like the blue they gave us for the Room of Requirement. Wish there's a mod to change it.
I do say yes, Ravenclaw seems to really be a forgotten house on the game. Their common room is ok, nothing to be amazed or too boring, but when compared to the other houses it feels empty, soulless in a way. Which I guess is tide with Ravenclaw's main problem which is that they dont have a signature companion. Slytherin has Sebastian who is extremely relevant to the plot not to mention his side quest has a story that rivals the maun one. You have Poppy foe Hufflepuff who is the one who teaches you most of the magical creatures in the game, and her quest line is honestly the most magical of them all (and depending on headcannon or roleplay, she could be a love interest as there seems to develop the foundation for such). For Gryffindor you have Natsai (whos side quests seems half-baked, which doesnt help making her forgettable) who helps capture Rookwood second in command and solve crimes (which she should have been the one to teach us about how to hide and move around undetected). With Ravenclaw the closests thing is Amit, but his participation is a joke since the one thing we needed him for and he was useless, and after that you never hear from him again. Which honestly a shame really as Ravenclaw has some genuine potwntial for the characters. Besides Amit who could have helped more in the quest, perhaps even helping us infiltrate a Elf camp in disguise, so that we learn more from Ranrok's followers and flesh out more the struggles of the Elves under the wizards, or even about Ranrok himself. You also have Everett who is introduce to use a gizmo type of person, always inventing new things, he could have been a character that teaches to create maybe some magical toys and grenades to help distract enemies or to stun them and perhaps doing a team up with the Weasley boy to create throwable potions. Which honestly is a better mechanic than most potions (specially the invisibility ones, because after you learn the invisibility spell, that potion is essentially useless). Which is honestly a shame since there was potential, and it was clear the developers had favoritism.when creating the game. Either way it is an okay game, still feels half baked in some areas but the story definitely is amazing.
The thing that disappoints me the most is that at night, the Ravenclaw tower is entirely deserted. I sometimes got the feeling that they were all partying somewhere and I wasn't invited. :( You can't sit down to eat in the dining hall, or use any furniture, you can't use your bed to take a nap and pass time, The only other students you can ever speak with are those connected to the plot or side quests...

The true house your MC was meant to be was Slytherin and It's fairly obvious given the fact Sebastian and Ominis are so heavily pushed in the narrative.
I chose Ravenclaw bc I am.. Amit is just boring.. And i fell in love with Sebastian and his storyline. At least 1 npc is deserves a storyline like Sebastian's, from other houses.
I personally disagree but I can't express how much I love your reasoning, you made me appreciate appreciate Hufflepuff and especially Gryffindor much more; myself, I absolutely love Slytherin common room, I find it far better than any other house; but I'm a Hufflepuff and will stick to our cozy basement
Sfter opening a lock i decided it was far too boring and fiddly .. I reset to story only and .???? Absolutely no difference ?? Either i have a bug or more likely the devs fixed this . PRbably the devs as they hate to see players enjoying themselves beating their pathetic little puzzles
gosh it dont matters much which house do you choose. You see the dorm rooms for 2 minutes, you meet all the side chars in other houses too and there is 1 quest which differs. Ravenclaw has a airfield. Ok. But theres a quick travel function. Noone lands per broom every time. Choose what you like. Hufflepuff is a hobbit house. Thats why i choose it. Ravenclaw is cold, baroque and full of supernerds. Who wants to be there? Slytherin is under water in a jail (why do a magical school need a jail?), Gryffindor is Gryffindor. with british castle things like leather seats and so on. Like the movies. In fact they failed to push immersion with the houses or the whole school life. The game is too much about "Chosen special guy\girl kills thousands of people and rules dont count for him\her. Forbidden curses? No problem. Night out? No Problem. Destructive spells in the living room?`No problem. Special appearance like a clown? No problem" It would be a better game if you start the first half in class 1-4 and do only school things. Instead of ravaging and genociding every goblin on the world, because one is bad. Instead its "oh yeah youre in the final class, but thats who freshman learn flying and basic spells". The atmosphere is good, but its bland like a ubisoft game. Rockstar would have filled the world with a whole lot more life.
Hufflepuff lives in a hobbit house. Thought ravencraft was my kind of thing, until i realised "oh....that are the fckin lame "math is cool you know?" nerds of hogwarts"....and theyre rooms are cold af. But i liked the thing in legacy that some gryffindors are some arrogant, self overrating pricks, while slytherin are not portrayed as evil an mean all the time like in the movies. But Huffles live in the shire. And they have the coolest animal.....cozy atmosphere, are good friends and good food, are near the kitchen for a midnight snack and fast in the great hall. who wouldnt like that. Gameplaywise it doesnt matter much. Ravenclaw has the ability to land per broom on the top of their house....thats it. Story is the same except 1 quest. Also i find the characterization is a bit blind. The main character is Boring Mc Lame.Typical, foul chosen writing. Could be played by Brie Larson.
