The video is very clear and easy to understand and it's packed with knowledge so thank you for that. I'm wondering if you can mix both clays? To get slightly different texture than pure cooked clay but also not loose it perks.
if soaking the clay in water doesn't affect the clay in the least, unfortunately this method will not work to soften your clay. i can't give any other suggestion since i haven't used other air dry clay aside from the diy clay i use and this is the only softening method i know that worked for it.
Hello, I watched your video and it seems your video has the most when it comes to troubleshooting. I tried this out and made a couple of batches of different colors. Some of them would dry with little dips and made the shape all wonky. Do you maybe know the reason why that is? Did I not knead it enough for even distribution of starch? Or maybe my starch proportion was off? Thanks for the video
cracks can be caused by a lot of things but one of them is improper curing. i have another video on how to properly cure air dry clay. you can check that out and hope that helps!
You can just leave it wherever as long as it's exposed to air and that will cure it/harden it! i have another video on how to properly cure adc. you might want to check that out :) thanks for watching!
i have another video for softening hardened or cured clays but if this method doesn't affect your clay at all, it means neither will work unfortunately
no, i haven't made mini pasta before. but if i'll be making one, i'll be doing the same thing i did in this video! maybe adjust the consistency a bit by adjusting the amount of cornstarch. note that it's going to shrink as it cures so the volume won't be the same after.
Hello! I made the no-cook clay recipe and it turned out quite well! But when I added colour to it lots of little cracks formed (something like dry land which is dehydrated). Can u please tell me a solution if u know about it?
Have you ever tried making a pasta sauce? I have always used polymer clay for miniature, but recently have been interested in air dry clays because conditioning polymer clay is something I hate doing.

it kind of is, since it's to make sure the clay won't be exposed to air. i would still recommend using one even if you have an airtight container to store the clay.
I had a question regarding water you said we can use water to smooth the surface of the clay but i saw another video in which she uses same method and she said not to use water because it is biodegradable clay and it can get molds on it so should I use water or not
molds are tricky and no one really knows what causes it since several factors come into play like humidity, weather conditions, how it's stored and more. it rlly varies since we all live differently and in diff areas. personally, i never experienced my clay getting molds and i use water a lot while sculpting. the vinegar i use for my diy clay helps prevent it too. most ppl suggests using distilled but i just use tap water with no problems.
Im struggle with clay cracked while drying process. I use no cooked clay with ratio 100gr cornstarch and 70gram glue, 1tbs oil , 1tbs vinegar. Is it the recipe or humidity problem?
mostly just making sure my clay is not too soft and not too dry when i work. having good consistency with the clay is the most important. tho sometimes i still get subtle creases here and there but i can usually smooth it out with water. proper curing helps too. u can watch my other video on that topic :)
