I started my channel as a makeup channel but now I mostly post nail related videos as I'm the owner of a press on nail line: DYS Nails London. Check me out on Etsy and on my instagram dys.nailsldn!
Thank you for these lists and information. Good insights. I’ve been considering dabbling in this possibility and I didn’t know any of this. Very good information.
So I'm confused. Do u just take some nails design them and then sell those exact nails and just pit the size of those nails in the description or do u just post a pic of a design on nails and wait for a customer to order that design and pick their own size and then design those nails for them and sell them? Which is easier? The first option would be easier but then u would need to design alot of nails in all different sizes to sell. Do u see what I'm confused on?
Your nails are STUNNING 😍 can I ask you please where do you buy all your shapes of tips cos I've waisted so much money on trying to find the right tips that have a nice shape and don't have a huge apex so that they last longer. Thank you 💕
I just found you. Love the video! Love your voice! Love your accent! You presented this so clearly that I believe I can do this! Thank you and I have subscribed! Looking forward to more of your videos! Thank you!
p.s just checked out your etsy, your nails are so gorg, i definitely think you could charge more, they are so different and unique to all the nails i see on there! <3
The nail tips I had been buying were from Amazon. They’ve since gone out of stock but I buy in bulk. Deffo look on Amazon and check the reviews for thicker press ons which will give you an idea on their quality. And thanks so much for checking out my Etsy, I’ve been considering it but it is difficult with how competitive prices are on Etsy.
Hi, when I first started out, I bought my boxes in aliexpress. I now use different boxes which a Royal Mail large letter friendly from tiny box company
Your sets are gorgeous !! Sorry if silly question but is there a rule against not using foils and stickers when selling own press Ons if your not skilled in hand art ?x
Builder gel is more expensive then the tips. So it’s cheaper to just buy new tips instead of using a bottle of builder gel if you get flimsy tips by accident. Also you can return to Amazon if you don’t like them.just thought I’d let someone else out there know. Great video xxx
Builder gel is expensive but mine last pretty long. Also for some reason, the square tips that I’ve seen online are really short and a lot of my customers like longer nails, so for now I’m sticking with them until I can find quality square tips that are long and their sizes match my other shapes
Shops reopened in the UK back in April, so I did think that sales may slow but press on nails are increasing in popularity so I’ve found that sales have continued to grow really fast
I’ve been selling press ons on Etsy for 1 year now and I still am only getting about 1 order a week. After a year I would have expected to be doing one a day ☹️
Hi hun, every business is different so don’t get yourself down. SEO is probably the most important thing to being found by potential customers which eventually will lead to an increase in sales. Are you putting key words in your titles and using all of your tags? Also have a look at how your competitors photograph their products. Are you taking multiple pictures of your nails such as wearing them, showing them in their packaging? This helped me a lot as this is what makes your potential customers click on your listings.
