Me early last year, having never seen the Good Omens show: In love with this song as I was processing some past stuff. Me at the end of the year having watched s1/s2 back to back: Bawling my eyes out at the end of s2 but feeling validated in my processing. Me now, accidentally finding this when I came to see if the artist had a music video: We live in a ineffable world made of magic and coincidence.
I know I've already commented on this, but I decided I had to point out everything I love about this (to justify why I've had it on repeat for two days straight) • Stede's face when Izzy cuts up his shirt is kinda flirty •Izzy's mad face when Stede says his name wrong •The sword fight! •Izzy on the dingy makes me wanna hug him so bad •Izzy getting his cheek caressed and him looking submissive!! •The zoom into his eye! •Izzy blushing as he just casually watches Ed, then getting startled by Stede •Izzy with red eyes! •Stede giving him the flower and Izzy looking so confused and shocked! •Izzy staring at the flower inspired me enough to draw a different perspective of that scene! •Izzy covered in blood •Ed and Stede back to back! •Stede not noticing the other guy because he's cocky and being showey! •Izzy saving Stede and then getting this look on his face that almost says "Fuck, I saved stupid Stede Bonnet... I'm really in deep" •IZZY ON HIS KNEES •The gentle tug of his tie •OPEN SHIRT IZZY •That sweet, tender, almost begging and hopeful look in Izzy's eyes when they propose to be a thruple •The 👏 Hug 👏 •Izzy's sweet and content face!

It has been 97 days since season 2 premiered. And I finally found the courage to watch this again. And now it kinda feels like this song and the animatic is somehow more canon than ever. It breaks my heart, but it is incredibly beautiful
This is so fucking well done, I died when at 1:34 Izzy fell down to his knees after stabbing that man, it was so powerful and pretty. Such a good steddyhands animation and just generally one of my favorites OFMD animatic.
