I bought a 70-year-old folk house 🏠 I am enjoying my life at two bases. The sea, old folk house, DIY, sake and delicious rice, leisurely Kamogawa life.
From now on, I will DIY with my husband and wife little by little 🛠 I will leave a leisurely life in Kamogawa as a reminder. This is my first time on RU-vid and DIY, but thank you for your support 💪

The pandas were cute. Getting instructions on hand plastering was a great idea, especially from the manufacturer. I have a friend who was a plaster and he taught me and I find the hardest thing is keeping the pattern consistent. As usual the meals looked fantastic and it had to be delicious. The meat skewers were mouth watering... 😎
I would enjoy working side by side with you only if I get to stay for the meal at the end. I like that you think things out and layout what you are going to do so that when you do it, there is not thinking required as it is laid out (pre marked) for you... 👍🔨😎 (how many holes will you drill and how many screws will you put in your DIY project?)
I think every DIYs need to have some type of meter to measure electricity for their safety... I have two, one for measuring point to point and one that clamps around the wiring. 👍🔨😎
I enjoy watching your DIYs as you and your wife are very detailed in what you are doing. I enjoy watching you work on a workbench instead of your knees, I enjoy the background music but most of all I enjoy the end of the day meals. The one thing I miss from Japan, the quality of rice is the same in the USA. 🍚😎
I agree, DIYs should be fun! The insulation install went very well. And the best is always saved for last, the meal and adult beverages. The meals looked very delicious. 👍🔨😎
WE have a saying in the US "You looked like a kid in a candy store" with your new laser tool. Your smile was from ear to ear. I am sure it will com in handy with your DIYs. So many main dishes, so many side dishes which ones do you choose first. And of course the Sapporo!!!! 👍😎
Great job in re-trimming the short beams and sealing the area with insulation. The meal presentation was very nice and and the main and side dishes looked delicious. 👍🔨 😎
Hi Bill san! Thank you for your comment! Insulating materials are light and easy to handle, but the locations to insert them are complicated…😓But we will do our best!👍🔨😎
An Asahi and all the great meals make you want to run to the closest cafe... Why do many of the Japanese DIYers work on the ground on their knees? So few have a workbench like you, smart as it saves the body and is less trying. 👍🔨😎
Thanks for your comment, Bill san! That's an interesting opinion. I think Japanese people don't mind kneeling, and depending on the work, it's easier to kneel, so there are knee supports for sale.😉👍🔨
The work effort went well and just another step in the process completed. As usual the meals looked delicious. I remember from my time in Japan i remember the Kirin, Sapporo and Asahi beers were very popular with the American (me) service men. 👍😎
I think that the idea of a great meal at the end of the day near your home makes you work harder to enjoy the meal even more. I know it would give me motivation. I like the work you are doing, even as armatures you strive for good detailed work. 👍🔨😎
Thank you for your comment, Bill-san! It's autumn and the weather is nice, making it easy to work. 👍🔨 Of course, it's also the season for delicious food. 😋
